'13 GA DE Davin Bellamy (UGA signee)

I think he gets that. He's just hesitant about accepting a recruit that is possible trouble. Nothing wrong with that. It's his opinion.

I also don't think it's a bad opinion to have considering our history with high profile players over the past three years.

Agreed. Thanks LV

Ain't nobody in prison for maryjane possession. Some have spend a night or two in jail, but not in prison. Probably not many in for dealing just it. Plenty of them in for dealing it along with other illegal drugs. Which is kind of the point.

Mind altering substances are not good. Don't mean folks won't use them or that they can't be made legal. However, just because something is legal doesn't make it good or the right thing to do.

Legalized "Medical" maryjane is just a method to skirt around the federal laws to encourage folks to be more accepting of it. Smoking clearly causes cancer - but that's OK as long as you can get high. Give me a break.

Cigarettes cause cancer because of the carcinogens in them, they aren't natural. Weed causes as much cancer as the food you eat

Also just so everyone knows, I don't smoke. I just know my stuff when it comes to marijuana. Add that to the fact that it irks me when people spread ignorance, I had to jump in.

It's ok man. I'm sure you are surrounded by more that do than don't on vn.

Not exactly true. If mass produced weed cigs are available, may find the same outcome. Not enough data to make that statement jmo.

Used to be no alcohol was advocated by cardiologists, now 5 glasses of red wine per week has been shown to have way more positive health effects because of many substances found in red wine.

Not apples to apples analogy, but no one knows what would happen with increased weed use. (It would kill me as I would weigh 600lbs from the munchies...if my asthmatic response to any smoke-tobacco or weed did not get me first).

I think it's funny that our staff said he was one of the very best pass rushers in this years class and then suddenly almost out of nowhere Grantham is saying that he is the best OLB in this class.

If he really felt that way, he would have made damn sure he got Bellamy locked up early on. Hilarious that the kid is suddenly buying it.

I worked in an industrial job for almost 40 years and dealt with many workers that were in the process of losing their jobs because of drug use. Most all of them had moved on to harder drugs than weed. Every one (that's 100%) that I talked to had started out on
weed and moved to something stronger. Even those that claimed they were using pain killers because of back or other problems started out on weed. Many of them lost their jobs because they couldn't stop using. At least one that I remember died from using the
hard drugs. Many of them lost their families and most didn't seem to care. My opinion from trying to help these people for almost 40 years is that it should not be legalized.
Now let's get back to football! Go Vols!

If it wasn't weed it would be something else.

On twitter it looks like Bellamy is announcing tomorrow. He retweeted the attached screenshot. Would he announce the day before NSD?
