If you followed his recruiting, it was hard not to like the kid. He didn't come off as a primadonna at all and was a pretty mature and classy kid.

That's why so many like him and are wishing him well. Seems like some could still stand to follow Lawson's example.

He never said anything about us needing to take a number or picked fights with our message board posters over Twitter. I like the guy.

I hope most recruits do well because I generally don't care what happens outside of Tennessee winning and Florida losing, but I did like Lawson more than most.

True and seemingly well-deserved. I have trouble understanding being so generous to one we lost while the board overflows with insults for those with whom we still stand a chance. They watch these boards.

If it is nothing personal- why toss in the "screw this kid. I hope he sucks."? Sounds like you are taking it pretty personally.

Those of us who do understand it is not personal, just business, are wishing him well because he made a decision that he felt was going to help launch his athletic career.

Can't fault someone for doing what they think is right. It isn't like he came out and said "Screw UT. I hope they suck."

I never hope the other teams we compete against have great players. I am always wishing they suck. Helps us if we suck less.

Couldnt agree more with BubbaSpitCup. I cant believe how well everybody took this SNUB. I dont hate the kid or anything, but I do feel very slighted! NO, I DONT WISH HIM LUCK EITHER..SORRY! We showed that kid what a great opportunity it would have been to come here, and he still decided to choose that POS school.
