2 years ago? That really makes you guys look good alright.
It truly amazes me how Auburn attracts so much talent every year and still can't have a winning season. Not to mention all the issues that's happened over there recently. I know it's Carl's decision but it would be best for him to come to Tennessee where we have the best tradition and the best loyal fans in college football history. He could easily become one of the all time greats with Peyton Manning, Eric Berry, Arian Foster, Bryce Brown, and so many more. Auburn will never be on Tennessee's level in any circumstance.
LWS said that Lawson reaffirmed his commitment to Auburn before he and his father left Auburn today.
Easy. AE is one of the better rival posters. He seems to be a sensible poster that comes on here and just talks football. Auburn can sell a 2 year old NC better than we can a 14 year old one. That being said, I like our staff and think CBJ has done a great job with the limited time he's had. I'm for one looking forward to what he can do with an entire offseason.
Carl Lawson>Malik Brown>nobody at all.
Point being, Lawson is a better prospect than Brown, but Brown is no slouch. We MUST...MUST land Brown.
No Lawson but landing Brown will not be the end of the world by any means. No Lawson or Brown...I don't even want to talk about that scenario.
Thanks pal. :toast:
I only bring up the NC because multiple recruits have come out and said that AU's staff tries to sell that to them. I don't necessarily think that it is the best recruiting tactic, but I do know that AU coaches use it.
You'd think with all that talent that kid had, he could at least done something good here. Guess I was wrong.
Bryce Brown was a true freshman in his one season here and played with a significant hip injury but he was still the 2nd best RB on the team and averaged 4.8 ypc. Obviously that doesn't make him one of the all time greats but had he stayed here and had he stayed motivated he could have been.
