yeah I read some of your post's over there - and the comments made after. I quit visiting when they somehow flipped Orangeslice to the darkside. Figured it was getting to dangerous. :hi:

The only thing that bothers me is I thought the Lawsons as a family would be smart enough to see thru the hog wash that the bag man Garner fed them.He totaly disrespected Carl Jr. while at UGA.Its a shame that AU is where Carls heart is and that he will be coached by a far less inferior coach.As much tallent as he has had at UGA he still always got them to under performe.I actually feel sorry for Carl jr.

Unfortunately for UT, this happens against us more than it goes in our advantage, simply because we are not usually the in-state or closest school, and we are not currently a "winning" school.

If this recent rumor is true and he is going to Auburn, it would've been a lot easier to swallow with a dynamite last trip to Auburn rather than a controversy marred last trip. I'm still going to hold out hope for him to be a Vol until we hear definitively otherwise but it seems this ship has sailed.

Ok can someone talk me off the ledge? I again find myself a few days from nsd feeling like we are the bridesmaid to 4 or 5 guys. Surely something will go our way?

We'll get some guys, but I don't think Lawson will be one. I've just always had the impression that he just really loves Auburn. Just looking to be convinced of that, and I think he's probably finally been convinced after taking visits elsewhere and ending up there for his last visit. If Barber flips to Auburn, you can definitely forget about Lawson. But we will get ours on NSD too.

I guess I really have a hard time that Auburn and Ole Miss seem to being doing so well. Alabama, LSU, Florida I get it. Just dont see the draw for the those 2?

Hope there is still a chance here but honestly you have to appreciate the kids for weighing his options after a coaching change and if he felt Auburn looks to be righting their ship...good for him in keeping his commitment...compare it to Carrs situation with us...

If we finish with Bell, North and a few other unexpected guys I'm happy and not gonna fault a guy for sticking to his word. Let's hope for a good close and keep it classy.

Yeah but unlike our team, auburn won three games last year. Their coaches are doing a realllly good job at selling a pile of poop with a ribbon wrapped around it. Tennessee is getting nothing but negative recruiting thrown its way and its because everyone knows that we are going to be back and dominate.
