Looking at these anon insiders track record when they were saying Gruden to UT was a "done deal"... I'll hold off on believing they know something that a 17 year old kid's dad said on a visit to Auburn..

Not saying it didn't happen, but im not jumping off the bridge based off that.

Well, if true the kid gave us a fair shot and that is all we can ask for. Since he was ALWAYS still committed to Auburn we didn't really lose him.

If i remember correctly they were all saying the same thing, and said poster would occasionally chime in and say something along the lines of.. "That (insiders info) lines up with things ive been hearing from my sources as well." ... Followed by a bunch of BOOMS... and then we know how all that ended up.

I'm not saying it isn't true, but we haven't got anything that concrete from Lawson since he opened up his recruitment. So I'm am still gonna hold out hope till he informs the coaches just because he has played it so close to the vest....

Yeah, LWS shot down the Gruden rumors at every turn. He nailed it. Many of the OGs trashed him. And said he was out of touch. But he was dead on in the end.
