TIFWIW but I just read reports that Reese Dismukes wasn't even at Auburn yesterday. Wish we would get official word on whether this news was true or not. Lawson still planning on notifying coaches tomorrow?

That may have been what he was doing last night if he really did text our coaches. We won't know until Wednesday tho. Fingers crossed!

well when I went on trips the parents would have a meet and greet with coaches and academic peeps - you'd do a tour or something like that and then after a certain point the recruits would go hang out with certain players and you would chill with them, go to a party, and just have a good time - meet back up with the fam in the morning at bfast

i was going to really small schools but i assume a similar thing happens at the big boys

Sounds like he had a great time last night after the fight. Since he's already committed to the barn, I doubt anything changed...

I'm bummed as he would have been an immediate impact for us.

Prediction: lots of people on VN will start to expect Lawson to come to Tennessee due to this fight when we have no idea how he feels. Then when he picks Auburn, we'll see a bunch of "can't believe he'd want to play for a program with such racist players!"

Auburn just seems to have bad things happening recently.
1. Pool party shooting
2. Cam Newton scandal
3. Trooper Taylor scandal
4. Alleged Foster/Dismukes fight
5. Robbery involving players
6. Coach fired
7. New coach Gus Malzahn's wife. saying stupid ish.

Its not chronologically correct. Also, I dont keep up with Auburn and I know these things occurred. Imagine what really goes on down there.

When you bring up all those things then you really have to wonder why kids do not end up at UT? We have a brand new coaching staff that changes everything here and still are on the outside looking for talent for positions that are going to be in dire straits next year. What are our issues that make kids say no, thanks?

Auburn had a very bad season last year and is starting over just like we are. The NC was all on Cam Newton.

Those willing to pay, will get the talent. Just the way it is. Note the ex AU coaches under investigation. Malzahn was there as an assistant. Same business, just a new guy approving the funds.

Dismukes has been in auburn all weekend. I found this tweet from him on an auburn site
