While it may have only been 2 days ago, people have know about the relationship between Lawson and Georgia Tech. Using the AJC as a source is laughable, Lawson is down to Tennessee, Auburn, and Clemson. Georgia Tech has no shot.

Even though Tennessee boasts two of his favorite players in Peyton Manning and Reggie White. Two guys with bullet proof character rarely found at Auburn in their athletics or their administration.

Even though we have some of his buds coming in.

and yes Even though we have superior facilities including one of his favorites in the film prep section.

If that is the young mans choice, it's his choice. I really think that he is torn at the moment. UT, by all counts has to be on the upswing. I think he knows it. I also think he knows that we have some very good defensive recruits in hand to assist Mr. Lawson in our reach back to the top. I think that Auburn has lost it's lustre, the country is sick of 'bama, nobody likes the gators except the gators. A&M is the new darling of the SEC West. It's time for Mr Lawson to know that if he decides to come to Tennessee he will follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest that ever played the game.

Damn square. Again, it's just a rumor but if true, my take is that he's either letting our coaches down easy - OR - he's seeking advice. If he's seeking advice then that tells me he trust's what he's been told at UT.

Lawson to Tennessee would be the BOMB!! If we hit on most or all of our remaining targets wendnesday is going to be one great day to a VOL FAN!!

Or Lawson plans to keep his commitment to AU and was just letting the coaches know via text. IMO he would be the best get for us in this class, I think him not ever actually de-committing set this weekend up. You don't take 10+ people on a trip to AU to tell them no. JMO
