Lawson Sr. last week said they would notify coaches on Monday of the decision and fax LOI on Wednesday. That is still the plan.

Lawson's HS coach planned ceremony on Wednesday for players making their college decisions. ESPNU got involved and to build viewership/interest, ESPNU is billing it as Lawson's announcement.

I just think its funny when people act like TN offers some unique opportunity to be an elite NFL prospect when compared to other SEC schools. Yes TN has great tradition and brand new state of the art facilities but so does over half of the conference. If the kid is good an works hard he will get noticed pretty much anywhere.

Thanks. The tornado in Calhoun actually touched down a mile away from my house. We had some tree branches knocked down, but all is well at my place. But I have to drive by the houses that were absolutely destroyed on my way in and out of town... Breaks my heart. One of the houses that was destroyed was just rebuilt after a tornado a year or two ago.

Just to keep it on topic: If Carl Lawson was here, I bet he'd have wrestled the tornado into submission.

As soon Lawson calls UT and Auburn coaches to inform them of his decision it will leak and hit message boards seconds later.
