I'm curious if the Lawson's have any idea that he has been posting all this info. Surely they know about it, right?

I think almost anybody trust their gut decision, it's usually what the heart wants. Psychology suggest that people use "smart" reasons to justify a "gut" decision.

Those were average teams that we took to the SECCG's you are talking about. I'm talking about a top tier team like we had in the 90's when Manning, Wilson, Little & those guys were around. We have not had a dominant football team in more than 10 yrs. And to answer another guy on here, no, one person doesn't make a football team but to insinuate in any way that it doesn't matter if he comes or we will be fine without him...is ridiculous. The only way to go from #10 or #11 in the SEC back to the top, is by having elite talent like the rest of the guys. You think we catch Alabama in the next decade without guys like Carl Lawson???? Keep dreaming pal.

So in 24 hours the best you could come up with is this hot garbage? So if Lawson goes to Auburn, we will shut the football program down and lose all hope for a winning season again, right? Get real, pal.

I think ultimately, his choice will come down to who he has more faith in to win. You have two new coaches who have never been head coaches at the SEC level. Do you go with Malzahn, or do you go with Jones? I think ultimately, Butch will win this one. I think you just have to feel confidently about Butch's ability to win. If he can win at Cincy, what can he do at UT? Malzahn in actuality got the job at AU simply because when he left, along with Newton and Fairley, so did the wins. People associate the wins and the NC with Malzahn. I'm beginning to wonder if that choice was more of a public relations decision. Everyone knew Chizik had nothing to do with Auburn's success. Malzahn was praised as a offensive genius, and definitely is. But as a head coach, not sure he is at the level that Auburn needs him to be at. I think he's going to take them down before he brings them up.

I think Butch is the much better choice here. Hopefully Carl sees that we have a proven winner at the helm, and regardless of whether or not he will be successful, he's proven himself more than Gus Bus.

Impossible for an average team to go to the SECCG.
