Some dude in another thread said he seen Lawson last night w a few players and he looked out of place texting the whole time

I read that too. Lawson doesn't seem like the outgoing party type so not really surprising since the guy said he saw them at a big party.

The party right over from ours was a pretty big rager and I think Lawson looked like he wasn't too into the idea of partying like that. TIFWIW.

I'm the one who saw them. And for the record, I don't know if they were really out partying or not. They just asked a group of us (who were partying) how to get to another building in quarry trail. They were there maybe 3 minutes and on their way so it's not like they were actively partying. I didn't see any of them with alcohol or anything.

If it was him then he's probably just a little quiet around new people, I was like that when I was a kid.

I'm a relatively outgoing person, but when you put me in a group with three people who know each other and I don't know them, I will probably look out of place to you. Because I would be. It would take a social butterfly to not look out of place and I doubt that describes Lawson.

Yeah I don't think we should look to much into this. You can't tell how a recruit feels about a school based on a 3 min convo about directions with people he's probably never met before.

Sorry I shouldn't have said party. I'll edit my post. I just know I'm not comfortable around big groups of people either so I just figured they would do something that might not involve a lot of people. I would do something that makes him feel more in his comfort zone. You know?

Same here. I don't think we should read too much into it since it was a 3 minute interaction.

He could have just had an important text or something. Or maybe he just (like most high school students I would imagine) was uncomfortable around a big group of drunken college kids.

Anyway I'm sure Tiny and Jawuan showed him a good time last night. Those guys have good heads in their shoulders.

Its not like they are gonna leave Carl in his room while every other recruit goes out. No matter what school he chooses, there will be parties, Carl just doesn't have to if its not his thing. Poster may have seen him, but this is nothing to pass judgment on within the suggested time frame. I'm sure Coach BJ and the players did their homework.

Garner is at Auburn, Clemson is still in the ACC, and Dad likes UT. I like our chances...
