Chizik is no longer the coach at Auburn. They won a title and that will always boost recruiting. Clemson plays a style that kids love to be part of, they've somehow managed to become a trendy pick for elite recruits.

OCI, you're predictions at the beginning of the night started very casual and grew with every post, and now you're to a point where if these guys don't choose UT, you'll be flamed. Probably based off of the same info you received when you were being conservative.

Jmo but I think sometimes people get to your head, and make you post sounding more confident than you are. You're a solid poster. You're right sometimes, and other times, you're wrong. I think there would be more on the right side if you'd be more conservative with ones you aren't sure about, for instance this one. I don't think there's any way you are very certain these guys will be in orange come Feb 6, yet you allowed the board to force you all in when you weren't ready. That's why people bash you.

Just my two cents, and I may be completely off base, but that's just how it seems to me.

Like I said though, I think you're a solid poster and enjoy your posts even if they aren't predictions. :hi:

He may be hearing things, or he may be full of it. Hope for the best but expect the worst.

Who forced him to do anything? He makes bold predictions all the time. Eventually you're going to be right.

Maybe force is the wrong word. What I meant is that when he posts something, even if it is very conservative, people freak out, whether it be positive or negative. Then I just think his predictions get bolder and bolder because he feeds them more and more. It's all perception.

Again, JMO.

Note that I said seems and I never said he was right about every single thing he posts. He does just post what he hears and usually people TIFWIW... I put a positive spin on it and hope for the best.... but back to the topic... How does anyone feel about how Lawson played at his all-star game. I don't remember off the top of my head him getting any sacks? I think he had a single QB hurry from what I remember.

Maybe he should just stick to checking Twitter feeds and relaying that info and get out of the bold prediction game.

Glorified scrimmage. Wouldn't read anything in to how he "played" or any other recruit in those all-star games.

Hmm so don't pay attention how he plays against other star players at his age? Not trying to be sarcastic... just curious. Wouldn't this be the best place to evaluate if he could compete with the "Big" boys. This seems like a great place to evaluate talent?

Told that we're landing a group of former Auburn commits including Lawson. No other Auburn coach has landed elsewhere, and Thigpen was the main guy for more Auburn commits than most realize. Smith, Foster, Toney, Lawson, Liner, Jackson, Lemond Johnson, Irvin-Sills...all former Auburn commits

I Didn't realize that he was in on so many big names.. I know was in on Lawson and Lemond Johnson... but not all of those?
