Bruin: we were 5-7 this year. We've won 2 SEC games in 2 years. Losing seasons in 4 of the last 5 years. Just hired a new coach a month ago. And now several of the top players in the country have agreed to do campus visits in mid-January to hear us out. They know each other and are friends with a current commit, and we know they can help us.

This is HUGE. Not saying we get them, but this is so much more than we should be able to hope for.

Let's get some perspective.

Very true, but now his interest in UT is growing by the day and Jenkins now being a Vol could really help with Lawson and Kamara. Hope it does, imagine a finish with Lawson, Kamara, Morris and North. Plus other outside chance guys like Green and Bell. I remember yrs under Fulmer where he would close with just Beast after Beast. Would love to get back to exciting signing class finishes.

A couple weeks ago I posted I thought we would get a healthy haul of the big fish or none at all. Certainly the momentum seems to suggest we have a legit shot a shocking the recruiting world on NSD!

I really hope so, it would be huge. Especially for CBJ in trying to win the fanbase over and show he's worthy of being here. Plus next recruiting class has potential to be the best in a very long time. So having back to back really good classes would be great for Coach Jones. I really like him and want him to be the guy who gets us back and also to shut up all the NegaVols who dont like the hire.

The buzz that weekend will be incredible. These guys will be doing nothing but wearing orange shades while drinking orange soda. Buzzworthy. Butchworthy.

Absolutely..To come away with some committs from that group would be a helluva way to help finish out CBJ first class.

Thanks again. So you have a little bit of doubt he gets to campus on the 18th?? Or at least it's something to watch?
