Carl has not been committed to Auburn for a little while. Don't read into that. We are neck and neck and I gotta say Butch has closed one, Malzhan hasn't to our knowledge.

The whole fact that Lawson is a class act scares me because I feel like he would of decommitted from auburn already if he wasn't going there. I don't know if he has it in him to "switch" "backstab" "shock" auburn at the last minute after being committed for so long.

This is the only reason I feel like he may stay at auburn. But still think its 60/40 VFL

It is believed around here that he avoided decommitting publicly to avoid all the publicity. Not saying its true because honestly, idk. That's what is rumored though.

Insurance in case he doesn't find something better. Just like Dan skipper who kept sayin he was committed to tn but we knew that was not true. Bellamy with Fsu etc. your not committed until you shut it down

You don't know how this works over here. There may not be a what you would call a memorandum of understanding but we know.

Don't see it as stabbing in the back. He committed to a different staff. That being said, Auburn having the last visit probably means they get him due to him being on an emotional high after the visit. However, logic should point him to Knoxville.

dont have any insider info but reading tea leaves yields this kid is torn. he likes all the schools and it may not be done til after signing day.

even tho dad has said otherwise, it may go on for a while. may not. but he has likes auburn for a while guise. dont get hopes up here.

this is an intelligent kid. and i agree we need to give him his peace and leave him be.

Why would he need insurance? He is a 5-star and its not like Auburn is going to pull his offer if he decommitted. Reuben Foster publicly decommitted and it didn't stop Auburn from putting the full-court press on him.

Thing is Marquez North is a class act as well and he went to UNC had the crowd chant his name and still picked the more logical place. This scares me a little with Vonn Bell, but makes me hopeful with Lawson.

If Lawson is so committed to Auburn, then why exactly is espnu airing his choice on NSD? And why is he calling all the schools the night before to inform them of his choice?

Sounds kinda uncommitted right now to me.
