'13 GA CB Shaq Wiggins (Transferring to UT)

Ridiculous, if those three guys are the next coming of Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, & Randy Moss, then they won't be around to experience Wiggins Island. In fact, the thought of facing Wiggins Island will probably be the reason they leave. Fear Wiggins Island.

Your stupidity is astounding. My God. I cannot comprehend the pain your parents feel right now.

Alabama > Georgia.

Much much better coaching staff and they develop their corners far better as well. Brandon Smith, Boykins....? None of those guys have lived up to the hype.

Wait until Cody Blanc meets Wiggins across the middle!

I don't think Cody wants any part of Wiggins Island. Cody's never seen anything like this, the kid is a lockdown, vacuume seal'd corner. I'm thinking by the time his career in Athens is over, they'll rename the Thorpe Award, The Wiggins.

Blanc has the type of straight line speed that will make Wiggins knees buckle everytime...book it

There's an excellent thread over in the football forum about the "unlucky 13 signing classes that fizzled." It's a great read, I recommend it.

If you're taking a shot at UT, which I'm not sure you are, it's not going to work.

The staffs that had those bad classes are gone. Richt and co. are still there.

We have 2 JUCO all-american DBs that just joined the team that will battle it out with Milner who was a starter as a true freshman. Plus Lester returning. Sunseri replaced Barron when he got injured and we saw how good he was as a true freshman. That does not count HCD or LC who were 5 star safties coming out of HS. TBH our secondary will probably be the best is has ever been under Saban next fall.

Combine that with our pass rush and what we are returning at LB with depth, our D will also be one of the fastest under Saban.

I am saying any team can not score, pass, or rush on us, but the next 2 years we see some of our best D under Saban.

Regarding Jones, ues I think he will be a huge asset to our team in the fall. I just did not put him in as a starting WR becuase I see us using him in multiple spots. I think he will do what we alwasy wanted B Sims to do but never worked. I see Jones at WR, RB, PR, KR and in the pistol.

I hope Sunseri is the starter at safety. I really do... but Jones has always been a star and I think he'll be a star for you guys too.

Sunseri will play alot in our nickel and dime packages, but HCD or LC will compete for the spot opposite of Lester.

I think if we can isolate him or Lester with our WRs we'll take that matchup anyday. I personally feel good about WRs against any secondary(if we're healthy).

Although I wish this was true, Brandon Boykin is a former 3, low 4 star player who became All-SEC, and a probable 2nd round pick before he broke his leg. Sanders Commings is an also-ran 3 star who's now a legit NFL prospect. They sent Demario Minter, Tim Jennings to the NFL, along with Paul Oliver. Not sure what you're talking about. Hate the Mutt fans for their pathetic offensive line development, their idiotic fans, for not winning a NC, but they tend to develop their defensive players pretty well.

More like MrUGAfanonRockytop if you ask me. Take the mutt homerism elsewhere.

yep the poster is incorrect you replied to. we have done a good job when it comes to developing defensive talent. i agree in the past few years our oline development hasn't been great, but it is getting better with a new oline coach. we are putting in 2 olinemen in the nfl this year (glenn is going to be an early pick) and i can see burnette and gates making it to the nfl next year as well.

Not being a homer, just a realist. The only guy who is out of place is Paul Oliver, who was a 5*, #1 CB. The rest though, were not highly rated and have been pretty effective and should be drafted highly.

We develop OL like LSU does QBs or Bama does WRs. Meaning that we don't. Hopefully that changes soon.

Wiggins is in good hands though and should have a strong front 7 in front of him in college, really letting him try to shine.

We'll really find out what Wiggins is made of when SEC play starts. He'll have to deal with some real physical play from WRs and RBs coming his way.

he cant be 151 lbs can he? surely to god that weight is wrong

Yes, it is. Believe he was closer to 175 at Jr day. He isn't a huge guy, but he is more about technique and cover skills than jamming the guy on the line and having a shoving match for 20-30 yards.
