'13 GA CB Brendan Langley

If we are taking a package deal, it's got to be the Alexander bros. Not this one IMO.

I agree here. MacKensie is twice the player as Langley and his brother is better than Langleys friend.

But as someone pointed out UGA can burn a few scholarships this year because they can sign like 30. So taking Maguar? does not hurt them. But for the UGA insider UA not offering him has nothing to do with getting Langley. He is just not good enough to earn an offer at UA. Sorry but just because CMR thinks so does not mean Saban does.

But I do think Langley always wanted UGA but he leveraged his position to get his teammate a spot. Even though Langley said UGA was not in his top three and now they are in his good graces again because UGA offered his friend. I am glad so far that Saban has not let recruits dictate to him who he takes.

The nature of hte beast. With fans following recruits so much now almost more than the game itself because it is a 24/7 365 year event. Some feel they are rock stars and now they can dictate to coaches like Langley is doing or RN did, if you want me you have to take these players as well.

TW, I definitely believe you are wrong about Kamara. I look for him to end up a Vol, but whether he does or not, I seriously doubt he will elect to go to UGA.

JMO.

If Henry does decide to go to UA in the end I think Kamara is all Dawg. If not I believe UA is in a good position to get him. That is my opinion and people can disagree but I have seen very little as of late to suggest that UT leads for Kamara or will land him.

I like our chancesagainst UGA more than UA when it comes to winning Kamara, but we don't have a prayer without a fantastic season, IMO.

I don't. I want georgia, Florida, sc, and bama to all be undefeated when we play them. Not saying its possible but a much sweeter win for us if we pull it off when they are.

I agree, although I can't help being happy anytime those teams lose. I always like to play an undefeated team. I'll definitely be pulling for USC against UGA though, and I think the chickens will pull it out.

its just like when urbie left. everybody was happy, i was pissed. we NEVER beat him at florida and that burns me up. i wish he would have stayed there, would have been so much sweeter to beat the gators with him at the helm. just like saban, i will be absolutely pissed if he leaves before we bust that ass for him a few times. anybody that doesnt want bama or florida to be strong is crazy, i want to beat teams when theyre at their best not win by default.

if urban meyer was still @ florida we would never beat them.

i wouldnt say that. they were on a decline while he was there too. muschamp is playing all urbies players right now and you see what they have left. not gonna say that the coaching quality is the same but you need good players no matter how good you are. dooley could be the best coach out there but we wont know until we see what he can do with actual depth and talent.

That's kinda how we won so many games in the 90's (with the exception of 2 or 3 UF wins)

Absoluetly right :)

Will still be fun when UT whoops the sh€£ outta tosu in a BCS bowl THIS season :)

It very well could happen. Find out in 72 days either way.:)

As much as I hate Bama and all things colored Crimson, I could never drop so low as to wish a yankee school such as Mich would ever beat a SEC school.

I for one, hope Bama runs through Mich like a dose of sauce, but I also hope Bama can't make a first down agains the Vols

That is the true Volunteer spirit! Where have you been lately Coastypop?

I want them to lose, to us. But against other conferences I'd rather them flex the SEC muscles and dominate.

This x 1000!!! As much as we hate some SEC schools, we always want them to beat teams from other conferences.

banworthy

Come on, where's your SEC pride? You know Bama winning championships helps UT's recruiting.

Bama getting the death penalty would have been even better.

Ive never met a fan over 35 that had any love for Alabama. If you lived through any of the Bear Bryant era you'd not even eat Golden Flake potato chips.
