Brendan Langley ?@b_langley
Guess ill go ahead and join in...

Did I miss "all these commitments today"? Well, go ahead and throw him in the Alabama pot as well if that's the case. Life is good in Tuscaloosa town.

Quit whining about Alabama. You've done it in a few threads.

Visiting South Carolina this weekend. Doubt it will change anything but nothing would be surprising with Langley.

WR commit Josh Smith beat Langley a few times in camp earlier this week.

Hmmm...interesting. Everyone would be pretty happy with Langley committing to us, since it seems that almost every SEC school has offered him. Yet, the WR that we have a commitment from, who many have flamed him and the coaches, beat Langley 1 on 1 a few times in camp. Maybe some will realize with this that the coaches do know what they are doing, and there is a good reason that we took Smith's commitment. Thanks, Jmo. :hi:

What's more impressive there, to me anyway, and I'm not trying to dog on CAK coaches but I guarantee Langley is more polished than Smith at this point, either way glad to hear Josh stood his ground.

From Dawg247 Q&A: Can you provide some insight on what happened with our recruitment of Brandon Langley? A lot has been said about our current commits at DB but Langley doesn't strike me as being scared of competition, seems to be very confident in his abilities.

That is the $1 million question at this point. Langley has not come out and told me, but I have heard from some that he thought UGA was bringing in to many DBs at his position. That may not be 100 percent correct, but I have heard that from multiple people close to this. "

Then I guess he won't be coming to TN if that's the reason, because we will be bringing in a few DBs this year too, as we did last year, and as we will next year.

Except we have his best friend here which helps outweigh that. He is a corner as well and we are sitting better with safety's than corners

This can't be!! Have you not been reading in the Kamara thread that prior relationships mean nothing when choosing where you will attend college??
