Hopefully Hinshaw can keep working that "Orlando Magic."

Other than speed, he doesn't seem that impressive. He doesn't break away or break tackles or make people miss, just has amazing straight line speed. That's not chopped liver, but doesn't seem like he'd be too high on our board, in my amateur opinion.

He definitely doesn't have amazing straight line speed he is the slower of the 2 best wideouts on that team and the other guy isn't a crazy fast 4.4 guy

He blew by every DB in his video. No one could keep up with him. 4.4 is on the track without pads and has as much to do with reaction to the gun as speed. In his video, on the field, he outran anyone trying to keep up with him when running straight down the field. Even when the QB threw behind him the DBs couldn't catch up to the pass.

For some of you older guys, you might remember an old Miami (FLA) WR by the name of Horace Copeland. This kid has the same body build and burst. I can see why the schools are throwing out offers left and right.

Amazing straight line speed guys don't have guys hip to hip with them for the majority of their film and erase cushions and angles, he does not have THAT speed & he didn't blow by every DB in his film. There's a noticeable difference between his film and someone like Pig's film. DW is very good though

This guy looks pretty good to me. The one thing I noticed is he appears to have really good hands. Hard to tell about his speed not knowing the competition but he is bigger than just about everyone of the DBs on the field.

I agree. Walker really isn't that fast... runs in the 4.8 range.

He really adjusts well when the ball is in the air and goes to get it. His measurables and speed look just like Keithon Redding from last year...

Vandy leads per Rivals

wo days after Tennessee receivers coach and southeast recruiter Darin Hinshaw came into Orlando Evans High with guns ablazing to let Dominic Walker know he was a top priority, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver has revealed there is a Tennessee school atop his list of favorite schools.

But the school's nickname is not the Volunteers. Another receivers coach has made quite the impression on Walker. Vanderbilt's first-year offensive recruiting coordinator Josh Gattis has struck up a relationship of trust with Walker, and for that the Commodores have one of the top receivers in the nation touting them as his leaders.

I'm still interested to see what is going to happen to the Vandy balloon when they get smacked up and down the SEC schedule and finish with a losing record next year.

not a burner but run good routes and has great hands.

Alshon Jeffery (sp) isn't terribly quick either is he or am I once again suffering from symptoms of CRS (can't remember sh!t)?

You're right. Jeffery isn't a burner but he was really out of shape last year. Since he declared for the draft I think he started working to cut the bad weight and made a vow to get back into better shape.

Edit for humor -
Before Jenny Craig....

I was at the Ark/USC game. I've never seen a slower, lazier WR who was supposed to be amazing. At the end of his lazy routes he would literally put his hands on his hips and stop, and that was before the game became a blowout. Contrast that with the Ark receivers who were sprinting back to help the QB every single play.
