'13 FL RB JoJo Kemp

CJG is not just going to sit around and wait on certain RB recruits. He is working on a lot of different RB talent that is out there. CJG is putting in work.

I agree. CJG is catching some flack from fans for his RB recruiting this cycle, since we haven't secured a commitment yet. But we are in it with a lot of really good ones - takes time to real in the top talent, IMO.

I'm still optimistic we come away with two very solid backs this cycle (and potentially a homerun in D. Green).

We need a big bruiser of a back and we need a home-run threat back as well.

D Green reminds me too much of Jabari Davis... not that fast and runs straight up... Kemp and Kamara have more impressive film

I want two of Barber, Kemp, Ford, and D. Green.

Wouldn't mind taking 3 of those guys and I don't want Keyante Green at all.

I agree fully. I wonder if the other guys are waiting to see what D. Green does since his announcement date is known.

If we don't get D. Green, any 2 of Barber, Kemp, and Ford would be a solid RB haul. That being said, getting Green does more than give us a great future RB. I t gets us more national attention and says we are back.

I'll agree in part with the short term buzz a program receives with getting superb talent. On the contrary, I disagree with the lets get an elite recruit to show we belong again theory.

Example: Dooley was able to secure/salvage a nice recruiting class his first year with the likes of 5 star Rogers and top rated hunter along with others. However, He finished 6-6 in that inaugural 2010 season and we all know how the other two seasons played out with no real improvement in recruiting/coaching.

Therefore, in my opinion, beating ranked teams consistently like FL, GA, SC, etc. while developing the talent you have on the roster will bring all the attention needed for national publicity and to show we are back with future recruits. We need wins to be relevant again and not just wins against Vandy, NCst, Ky etc. Winning will come down to Coaching up our existing players. LSU-GA both are examples of having top tier talent with mediocre coaching. Yes they win a lot of games but they blow the close ones or against teams they shouldn't have lost to. IE Ga vs. boise state and LSU vs. clemson.

........OR FL vs. Louisville? ......OR Bama vs LA Monroe?

Don't worry about K. Green. He is staying with purdue and really dont think he has offer.

Kenyata Green has been offered by UT and he is officially visiting this weekend.Read what you will into where that may put us with other RB commits.......to me this is very discouraging

If he is visiting, he seems to be trying to keep it very quiet.

It seems the only teams who dont need a back are the teams getting all the backs

We are in on all the best WR every year. It's rare for a school to get amazing WR classes every year and land top RB's. We are WRU, RB recruiting will always be more difficult.

USC laughs at this notion of not being able to recruit great receivers and running backs.

There are other schools that do alright, too.

some guy on espn has said he thinks kemp ends up at kentucky

gotta give stoops props he's made a nice splash in recruiting
