Really like this guy's film. Hits the hole quick. No hesitation and has great vision. Pretty quick too.

Jay, think Ryan Green (APB) may be back on the mkt. He's not happy about Gran. I like him and we were once in his "5", w/ Auburn (another in his "5") imploding, and Alabama looking set, I think if we made another run at him he'd listen. Your thoughts?

no disrespect to the kid, i am sure he gives it everything he's got, but are we now looking at 3*, smaller, slow RB's? Poole was faster and bigger than this kid and he still had trouble hitting the corner and would routinely be run down. We need the Marlin Lane's and Derrick Greens to compete in the SEC. He would be good for CINCY !

Has a hell of an offer list. What's the deal with Gran?

I think this kid fits the Jones O really well. Scout has him at 4.5, which is probably closer to reality. We are not late to his party because UC and Jones had already offered him, as well as the fact our program is the largest in the SEC to potentially go after him.

Get after anybody that is good at Auburn and FSU. I would say this staff is already all over what they want at Auburn with Thigpen and Martinez.

Wow, I didn't realize you had all the right answers?! What the hell? So because I have an opinion or a concern that you don't agree with -- then it's garbage?! GROW UP. I think the kid is too slow- so what.

Speaks volumes of Dooley...

Anyway, it looks like the competition isn't too stiff.

Not familiar with Deland... is the Central FL or what?

DeLand is located in Volusia County Florida just inland from Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach...about 30 miles from Orlando area...

Are you basing that off him outrunning everybody against good competition in his senior film or a number posted by rivals that is most likely dated or even made up? I would put others ahead of him, but he doesn't look too slow if you actually watch his film.

I agree that he seems to hold his own on film, I am just thinking about how that translates to the top tier defenses he would be facing in the SEC. I know the situation our offense is going to be in the next few years and we havent had a big bruiser in a while and think with the backs we have currently, that would benefit our backfield the most instead of bringing in AJ in the Beast package to do the heavy lifting. BTW- thanks for a normal mature question (no sarcasm). These forums are for debating with one another- not going crazy on someone like that other poster.

Totally agree with your last point. I was just responding to the football-related portion of your post. He looks like the type who would benefit from a bigger counterpart to split carries with. IMO he could be a good third down back and nice to get out in space. He is a poor man's Folstan and a poorer man's Kamara though.
