'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama commit)

Am I the only one not sad about missing on Henry?

He's another athlete that MIGHT be a solid RB, that MIGHT not grow too much more. I would much rather have any of Williams, Kamara, Folston, Green, or Turman before Henry. I'd rather have a pure RB.

At the half Henry 18 carries, 103 yards, 1 touchdown( 81 TD run)

i saw on gb the boy thompson is puttin on a show

gville got a squad this yr beating dr. phillips and yulee to start the yr im gonna be following for sure

42-7. Tony James just busted one for 90. Kid maybe the fastest RB since Demps. Would love to see a foot race between James and Melvin Bracy.

GHS is loaded this year and next.

lol. Not at all. GHS was the only team to lead Armwood last season. G'ville has about 8-10 future D1 players on their squad. Henry will rush for a yard or two then lose a few on back to back plays...boom long TD run. It's been all or nothing for him tonite.

I have not given up on Henry just yet and still believe we are in it for him. If nothing else, anytime we can get a kid on campus for a visit, we are not out of it.

Same thing. It amazes me how some of you guys will talk about how his stats are inflated but you would accept his commitment to UT with open arms.

I'm not sure we were watching the same game. Gainesville never pulled their starting D. To get 300+ yards with almost no blocking is sick. He had like 20 carries for negative or no gain. Granted he doesn't have the pedigree of a little "Fred Taylor" spawn. Just imagine Henry's stats if he was playing the same schedule as Kelvin. Those little church schools would have to send out their entire congregation to try to stop Derrick.

Go Vols or Go Home.

The 70 and 80 yard TD Kelsey and 2 starting DL were out of the game. I never said his stats were inflated...said they were misleading.

Yes, Glades plays some bad schools but Yulee plays Glades Day, Calvary Christian, West Nassau Academy and Potter House Christian. lol They play 3 tough schools: GHS, First Coast and South Lake.
