It amazes me how recruits allow coaches to tell them whether or not they will take their OVs that they have worked hard to enjoy. I mean don't get me wrong...I HATE it when one of our commits is taking OVs to different schools, but when I try to take off my orange glasses (which is hard to do), I can understand why. If a coach told me that I was not going to visit another school, then I would be turned off quickly and tell him to take a flying leap.

I think it has more to do with if you are 100% commited no reason to take visits. I somewhat agree. How many times is a committed player that goes on a OV ends up flipping. Yeldon did last year after his. IMO a recruit if they want to take OVs they should but wait until after they are having fun to commit. It makes everyone happy and and both sides win.

Bryant had a Bama offer before he committed to OU. Heard Bama is just putting it out there to make AU work a little harder, AU does the same thing, just a friendly instate thing. No need to push for Bryant when u have 2 commits that are similar inm some ways. They know he is more than likely going to AU. Henry has already been told based on the info i gathered. So we will see what happens.

agreed , if i was a coach I wouldnt wont my commit visiting any where else. i would never tell him he couldnt visit anywhere but behind close doors I wouldnt be happy about it. I wish there was an early signing period to help stop this issue. People get mad when coaches cut players or change there positions but not enough is said about these kids that commit for several months and then decommit which puts these coaches in a scramble to find a replacement and possibly miss on other big fish.

I guess we'll see if Derrick has the same feeling about this as Bama fans. His opinion is the only one that will really matter.

I personally think this is good for UT unless somehow Saban has convinced this kid his future isn't at RB.

I heard some very good news about him this morning for you guys. Heard he might even be a silent as of this past Monday. Not sure if he called your staff or what, but I got this from someone who tends to know some of these things about TN.

Obviously it can change, but figured i'd let y'all know.

Idk who your source is but there was a rumor going around earlier this week that he and jrm were silents to us. He pretty much got shot down soon after.

Could very well be the case, but figured I would pass along what i knew. My guy told me he was about 90% sure that's where things stood right now.

If Henry is a silent to Tennessee, the coaches are very silent as well.

About time. I'm tired of info leaking.... I like u skeet, and it's not an attack on you, but it would be nice if the coaches honored a silent by, get this, actually being silent...

One of the things that Dooley does well is not leak information. As someone has said in the past he holds on to information like nuke codes.
