UT just makes sense for Henry - AK or both!!! Hell I'm praying on both... lol

Yeah it comes down to numbers and if you don't look at the numbers then you're screwed. This is the one thing i preach to anybody I'm helping with recruiting. what the coach is saying is all well and good if its the truth, but you gotta learn how to do the numbers yourself. Don't tell me I'm your #1 and u got 20 offers out in my position an 5 in line that have redshirts already and look at 6 in the class behind me... HELLLL nahhh... You'd be a fool.

Unless you don't mind waiting in line for 2 1/2 years to play and be a practice dummy for the rest of the team, and when the elite player should be looking at going pro, they're just hitting the field....

Cook up a good home cooked meal

Fried Pork Chops, mashed taters, gravy and biscuits

Have both of them over and feed them good


Then tell them there is hot sweet potato pie in the oven and homemade ice cream to go with it


Then tell them they got to call Dooley and commit before they get any

Switch the biscuits and gravy to pinto beans and corn bread and you've just made my favorite meal

MzT bringing the goods tonight!! I think it's a great idea to have Henry up for a visit and dinner one weekend...help him understand the boards. :) I really hope that he and AK talk a lot. They need to realize they would be a perfect combo at UT, and they won't get put on the bench until they're juniors.

yeah I have heard that from both sides.

henry has said that Nick Saban telling him that he wanted him at RB had a big impact on his decision to decommit from Georgia. but u know how that goes.

did UGA tell him they were recruiting him to play defense? i have heard that a few times, i figured u would know more about it.

I have heard several things about our coaches and Henry, nothing negative really. I just don't post them because obviously I'd be labeled as a sore loser. I believe his decommitment happened months before he officially opened up his recruitment.

I believe our coaches want Kamara more, just my opinion. Not hating on Henry because I think the kid will be very good where ever he ends up.

UT makes sense for ANY elite RB period!!!

UGA too.... they have 18 redshirts freshman 14 redshirt Sophomores...2013 will ALL be redshirts

if he figured that out about UGA early, why is bama still in the running? probably because he is looking beyond the numbers and actually looking at the quality of the players

we see the numbers but there is more to it than that. regarding 2013, Lacy will more than likely be gone, Fowler will be a SR and he only brings one dimension to the offense, , Blake Sims is a converted RB, Drake will probably end up at WR because of his built. Hart is coming off a knee injury and might not be durable. the only RB that brings the same versatility as him to the offense would be Yeldon and im sure he knows that. if he EEs,he will have an advantage over Jones and tenpenny from the start regarding the playbook.

i agree he would see the field earlier at UT. one of the posters mentioned earlier in this thread that UT has 7 RBs on scholarship if thats the case then they actually have one more than Bama, so quality has to play a part for oth teams. his opportunity to play early at Bama would be better than alot of posters on here think.

i agree with this. decommitting a few months before he officially did it lines up with the rumors that he pvt committed elsewhere before going public. if UGA recruited him to play on defense and kamara to play RB, that tells us who they like more at RB. Bama is the complete opposite regarding the 2, they have been trying to sell Kamara on possibly playing WR which of course has hurt their chances.
