'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama commit)

Okay, promised pics or it didn't happen. I just want to say that I met this young man last night and he is truly a beast in the making. I was pleasantly surprised how cool he was in person. Derrick is a fine young man, well spoken, polite and left a great impression on me and my son. My son is a huge Eric Berry fan and now his number two favorite is Derrick Henry just as long as he is not a Bammer :) While I don't think he will be a VFL, he thinks Tennessee is heading in the right direction. I still wouldn't count us out and he has great respect for Jay Graham.

Here is a pic of him with my 11 year old son. BTW, my son is 5'1" just for reference.

I agree with you. Not that he couldn't play RB in college but he has a lot more potential to make it to the next level at TE or LB. Kind of reminds me of that big time recruit a couple years back, out of Florida, who went to fsu.

Derrick should be watching and getting familiar with those guys games

In other words, his gift is his curse. RB is overrated though, in terms of desirability. As long as I stood to make millions one day, I don't care what position they play me at, just so it doesn't require me to balloon in order to do so.

When I mentioned at the UA camp Henry was running routes for the TE/HB position many still argued he was solid on playing only RB at UA. But like I said we were told he likes the idea of playing HB/TE. Also he was with B Calloway, who btw will be our starting HB this fall, the whole time he was on campus.
