'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama commit)

You're getting what you paid for here with this tid bit of information. An esteemed UA alumnus/ booster informed me yesterday that he believes neither Derrick Henry nor Alvin Kamara will sign with UA. Take it for what it is worth. I'm not trying to cause problems here. Just thought it was interesting information considering the source. I wish the best for both young men in regards to their futures. GBO!

With Henry, the world is forgetting and discounting Georgia with all this Alabama/Saban stuff. Today if I had to lay $20 down, I would put it on GA.

Derrick Henry put up a 41.4 verticle beating Jaylen Ramsey at 40.7. He was the biggest ATH compeeting at the verticle and out did everyone dud is a sick ATH he just became my favorate recruit. The opening is on ESPN U right now this event is cool.

Did find it interesting that he said that is top three in order are Bama, Georgia, and Tennessee third, and that is from his mouth on ESPN U hopefully that changes after the 16th.

I will take the word of someone on our chat that is best friends with a member of our staff over a booster and alum. Not to mention the alum/former players that run one of our best sites for info because of their conncetions. They say UA for Henry and that Kamara will not end up at UA. Does not mean it will change but that is the word right now if both made decisions today.

I think UGA is listed 2n because he was once commited. If he goes to dawgnight they still have a chance IMO if not they are out I think. He will also take an OV to USC he said, but not a definite.

Yeah, we've seen how dependable your sources are...

Henry said UA was his leader. So, I don't need a poster to tell me a friend of a UA coach knows that if the choice was today it would be UA. Heck, Henry just said they were his leader. Common sense tells me if picking today he would pick them. My inside source is Henry with his public statement.

We need to roll out the carpet on the 16th for this kid and get out in front.

YouTube - Derrick Henry interview from The Oening

Interview with Derrick Henry at The Opening. A lot can change this fall.

After watching this video I dont want him...way too cocky for a young kid and that usually spells trouble. Playing for UT is a once in a lifetime opportunity and privilege. I want a kid with heart and desire, not one that thinks hes doing us a favor by gracing us with his presence.

I believe there is a great difference between confident and cocky. I want UT football players to be confident in their talent and abilities. For example, I know many UT fans dislike Da'Rick and do not want him to be part of the football team because they think he is too cocky and a troublemaker. In reality, Da'Rick is just very confident in his skillset and plays with some attitude and intensity. I like to see that out of UT football players.

What interview did you watch?

RN, McCullers r the first two that come to mind.

RN has not signed with anyone and I told everyone on here I thought DM could end up at UT. To be more precise I told everyone on here that if DM did not graduate in Dec he would not end up at UA. I can go find that post if need be. So try again please.

In regards to sources until this spring I did not have all the sources I have now if insiders are really sources and in the past the info I did have like that I did not always share on here. But again feel free to keep trying.:)

Did you ever watch an interview with Al Wilson? Very, very confident in his talent level. One reporter asked Al where he would be in the depth chart at RB with Jamal Lewis and Travis Henry on the roster; (Al played LB/RB in hs) Al's response was one word "Starter"

Tennessee needs a team full of players with that winner attitude. Al hated losing. Therefore, winning was his only option. He carried the whole team from a leadership position.
