He's a solid player. I think people forget about him because of all the backs Alabama has had the last few years.

I think that Derrick Henry just wants to go to a place that wins. I believe that if we beat Florida he will see we are on the uprise and will in the end commit to us. I know he loves Jay Grahm and wants to play for him. So I believe that is we get te W Saturday we the commit from Derrick later on.

I could also see him committing after the game if it all goes well and we win, but that is unlikely that he commits before the set date.

Hart and K Drake are in that rotation as well. Drake had a nice TD last week and actually seems to have pass Hart the last 2 weeks. But with Lacy who does not seem 100% it leaves us with 3 RBs healthy(1 RS freshman and 2 true freshman).

Two ways to look at it. One UA gets last visit which benefits UA and Henry wants to see both schools before announcing. Two UA staff worried about UT landing Henry and are bringing him to get the last impression and do damage control from the UT visit.

Or 3...Henry knows he is going to UT, and also knows that if he announces publicly to UT before going on his OV to Bama, then Saban won't let him come. One last hoorah and his last OV before announcing to UT and completely shutting it down. GO VOLS! :)

i wonder who will pick up the slack because Bama has nothing like that in the backfield. probably one of the TEs will take on the blocking assignments, as far as the short yard, maybe brent calloway can fill that void.

Yeldon is 6'2 and weighs 216 which is not exactly a scat back.

this visit could be huge for us because as far as I know he is committing two weeks from yesterday. Per sports 180 can anyone confirm. if so we could be his last visit before he pulls the trigger we need to pull out all the stops for him and beat florida's dicks in the dirt.

I believe it's the 21st. A day before his Bama visit.

K Johnson(walk-on) played that role in both games already so maybe him. Johnson looked good against UM as the fullback. I also thought BC was hurt maybe not though.

Wishful thinking but UA is big on bringing in committed recruits(from other teams) they are still recruiting. Ask Au about Yeldon.:)

Doesnt that make Saban a hypocrit? He doesnt like his committs to take visits but is ok with committs to other teams coming to see him? Gotta love recruiting in the SEC, gotta be low down and able to eat your young.

I think everyone of our commits last year took a visit and most of the ones I know of this year are as well. I am sure no coach wants their commits to visit.

Dooley has always encouraged his recruits to take their visits, which could backfire. How many of them took visits after they committed to him? I honestly dont know and am curious. Had always heard Saban can act a fool when his recruits take visits, especially to rivals. Hell he acts a fool with Alabama's fanbase if they dont sell out every game, i can imagine how he is with his own guys. Thats why I dont think he will coach in the NFL again. He cant treat those guys like he does the ones in college. He would end up in somebody's trunk.
