Out at the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. Check in is today at the Anaheim Hilton Convention Center.

Just spoke with the top RB in the country, Alex Collins. He told me he's been in communication with UT quite a bit and he has high interest in the Vols.

There is a caveat, though. Collins only has two official visits left and has scheduled Miami and Arkansas.

He told me he hated that because he really wants to visit Tennessee.

So if the Vols can convince him to perhaps make the local Miami visit an unofficial and get him to Knoxville, they are in the game.

As for where he ends up, he's back to undecided after naming UF his leader following his official there. I get the sense he's taking a measured approach and will give all schools consideration. FSU, UF, Miami are all in the thick of it, so just by number of programs that are players here, he's most likely going to stay in-state.

Also saw Austin Sanders walking through the lobby. Great looking prospect. Barton Simmons and I both are looking forward to watching him this week.

If we were able to come out of nowhere and grab this kid it would be ridiculous. His change of direction is outstanding and he's gonna do well wherever he ends up.

The fact that our we have our name in the mouth of Rival's and 247's top RB after what we've been through these past few years is good. Hopefully the signs point to a brighter recruiting future.

I remember the last number one all-purpose back who signed with us.

Not saying I don't want him because I'd love to have him. Just brings back memories.
