Good. we need to. real good RB.

I honestly think if we made a concerted effort to be highly visible in Central Florida, we could get 70% of the top prospects here.

there are no major HS coach/College links in this area. everything is wide open.
a Couple years ago, Lance Thompson was down here recruiting quite a bit. Ran into him on a few occasions.

It would be alot easier for Hinshaw because he is WELL KNOWN around these parts.

Hinshaw is the main recruiter for Turman. There are a few more guys I've heard about recently in the Orlando area that coaches are optimistic about. I'll try to get some names.

Big time back is a must get, maybe more than anything else. I'm still hoping we could get D Green from osu.

BC Orlando kids are 1000 thread count soft  I hope Marcel Harris is the last kid we take out of Orlando ever. FSU and UF have St Pete and Tampa on lock so Orlando would be a good area for UT to set up camp. Evans,Boone and Jones put out FBS talent yearly..DP also when they are cheating.

Kissimme/St.Cloud and Daytona players are always overrated or bust at big time football. You know the names.

I said Orlando. Including Brevard County is like saying Ft. Meyer is south Fl. I'll give you Lakeland and Seminole counties.

HG, you mean to tell me that Tampa's not part of south FL haha? Will never forget getting to UT and telling someone I was from south, central FL and he asked how close to Tampa. When i told him 3 hrs south he said how's that possible, isn't Tampa bout as south as you can go? Told him yeah, you head south outta Tampa and hit the Glades haha.

I worry about kids like Kelvin Taylor, Sony Micheal and Alex Collins because of the number of carries over the last few years.

Willie Green was solid but give me Sedrick Irvins and Ciatrick Fason.

Very Valid concern that is often overlooked.

It's criminal what some of these HS coaches do to some kids.

it also shows you how impressive the stables are at places like Central,NW and STA that produce D1 backs every year.

Not very familiar with the Florida area, but that is disgusting to have a RB worn out before he steps foot on a college campus. That happens to nfl running backs a lot but happening before college is a travesty.

it was disgusting.
Willie was hurt his entire senior year and Coach kept playing him trying to chase a state title.

He enrolled at Florida needing reconstructive Knee surgery.

almost ashamed of myself for not watching this kids film sooner. had no idea about him other than a name. kid is a baller!! absolutely great downhill runner. doesnt shy away from contact either, i like that in a back. would not be upset one bit if we got this kid and another slightly less than elite guy like folston. i think hes almost as good as dye and in my eyes a little ahead of kamara. this one will be a good one just hope FSU doesnt close the deal.

Some FSU fans are unsure if Turnman will be apart of FSU's recruiting class. Apparently they are signing a smaller class than first thought and are pretty content with Ryan Green at RB. Here is a post from an FSU fan on the MB concerning Turman and Lane and their interest with FSU & UT:

Not sure we take another RB in our class. I think we land Turman if we want him. For the longest time I thought that is what would happen, but I for now I think we stay at 1 RB. I think we are going to sign a smaller class than we originally thought. I think FSU has a great shot at Lane if they pursue him. Honestly, Tennessee may have a great shot at both if FSU doesn't go after them.

Is that FSU guy just some fan, or does he seem like he might have some insider stuff?

How do the coaches feel Turman matches up against Dye, Henry and Green? They seem to be the same mold of RB.

Who/What are you hearing? I know you have hinted that UT might be turning it up with Turman, but do you know anything new on Lane?

Last Wednesday I got word that Turman and Lane may be a part of our class. We're amping up our efforts with both kids and both are VERY interested.
