I like the ground and pound as well. UT has had much success with this style of play. But, aTm beat Bama using a mobile QB and had much success this year. Not saying UT will have the same. Remember our success when we did play with a mobile QB, Tee.
For someone alleged to be "raw," he sure does make some seasoned decisions on the fly. At the 1:25 mark, he looks off the defender (in the flat), to create space for him to hit the other WR on the slant. And look at the zip on the ball.
Pretty good size, athletic, smart with the ball, good pocket presence. He also looks like he has a high cieling and looks very coachable.
Want.

Then later, as the pocket is collapsing, he sees the middle open up. Instead of just taking off and running with it, he stops short of the LOS and heaves the pass to a WR downfield. We've taken 2 QB's in the past, when there has been need, and with Bray likely leaving, there is a need to do so again.
somebody will have to explain to me how doofus could be so stupid and over look AW he wants to come to UT I just don't understand i guess this just really shows how really bad he was as a coach and evaluator

So, by your logic, Tyler Bray should never have been offered? Nobody else in the SEC was banging down his door. Sometimes, in order to keep one QB commit from flipping to another team, you wait to take the 2nd later in the Recruiting season. Not saying that was the case here, but it's certainly plausible. So every coach in the SEC except for Hugh Freeze and James Franklin are really bad coaches and talent evaluators? We got a good quarterback in Ferguson, and one that fit better than Woulard in our previous regimes system.
