I like Vereen quite a bit more. He had every bit the offer list Rankin had when he committed to Tennessee. If he's a 3-star so is Rankin.

Seriously? Have you seen the Linebackers Alabama has had and how they have performed at Alabama under Sunseri? Both schools have tons of highly rated LB's on their rosters, but Alabama's are and have been far and away better including last year. Hell the second team LB's at Bama last year were better than Georgia's first team. From the on field results I'd say nobody evaluates LB's better than Sunseri.

Anyone on this planet would take the evaluations of the Big 3's staff combined over Georgia's. Georgia is a far more underachieving program historically than any of the Big 3 in Florida. Georgia is and always has been about bringing its A game on paper in February and C game on Saturday's in the Fall.

This........ don't know why what he was looking at. UGA's LBs got away with some terrible plays against us(Especially the PIs). Bama wasn't even into the game against us and Hightower and crew still out played UGA's LBs. Sunseri will show his real coaching ability with AJ and Maggitt. I think putting Maggitt inside next to AJ will really open things up for the both of them. If McCullers does what he has to do at NG those two are going to wreck this year.

All the credit for Bama's success on defense goes to Saban. Sure he has defensive coaches but there is no question who runs the show for Bama's defense. Just my two cents.

Saban coaches the secondary up. He knows how he wants the other positions to play and gets coaches that can make that happen. Sal also coached that nasty D-line under John Fox. I guess Fox did it by himself at Carolina too.

We noted a guy committed.

That was followed by lots of whining and degrading of the UGA program. I would assume because there were many on here who thought he would commit to UT if offered and was worth said offer.

Then we had the personification of UGA and 3 FL programs followed by completely off-base and inaccurate remarks regarding recruiting evaluations (Grantham>>>>>>>> Hudson, DJ Jerkin, Barrows) since "UGA" doesn't evaluate, our coaches do and our D staff >>>>>> the "Big 3". Since everyone likes to worry about we he thinks, Saban would hire Grantham ahead of those other 3 in a heartbeat.

UGAI - Sunseri should get credit for Bama's LBs, not Saban. He is a DB coach and should get credit for the overall scheme, but Sal coached LBs and did it well. I still think I'm a bit better, :)neener2: :lol:) but he is a giant upgrade at DC and IMO will do well at UT.

That's a stupid misrepresentation of what happened. Dawgsfan1973 has been blowing up every thread he comes across, including this one, with garbage only a Georgia fan would care about. Basically, we'd all like him to go away.

You're red shades, take 'em off when you post on this board. You've done a decent job of it in the past, and I know you're super excited about how Mark Richt is gonna turn this guy into a manimal, just please try to contain yourself the next time Georgia reels in a stud that everybody else in the nation clearly wanted.

dude you are so clueless...Grantham coaches the DL at UGA just like Quinn at UF. Quinn in his first year had a better D than TG did and ask around the NFL who would become a NFL DC first and Quinn names comes up. Had f3 offers in the last 2 years. Not sure anyone outside the Falcon wanted Todd. Quinn has coached more probowler and top D than TG combine. Think you need take a look at his resume, bruh. Man I can wait to start another streak against you :censored: pups. It's always more quiet around here when yall are hiding.

Might have to wait another year to start that streak. Georgia is clearly better than Florida this year...and you just lost Powell. Granted, they've lost with the better team before, but I don't see Muschamp dominating Georgia at all. Or us for that matter.

The combine and draft comments about Courtney Upshaw proves how good a coach Sal is. EVERY analyst was saying how he "wasn't close to an elite athlete, but a technician on the field and one hell of a football player." Thats the sign of a damn good coach. Lets hope he can bring that to an entire Defense. We know Curt and Aj are gonna be running through some people the next couple years.

HG...Grantham is the OLB/DE coach. Rodney Garner coaches Nose and Coach KO coaches ILB. I could care less about Quinn, Grantham had a better D last year and he will again this year.

The streak won't happen again. In fact, this year is more likely to be like '42 again (75-0 UGA) than starting that streak back up.

How much of that is Sunseri, and how much is Saban? I think that question remains to be answered.

More like a UGA realist who HATES how we've essentially fallen behind them since 2000. I'm ready to see us start consistently pounding them on the field ,but I live too close to the program, particuarly some relatives, to close my eyes and pretend like they're garbage. That sort of thinking is just a waste of time.
