with the LB talent we have coming in I don't know how much playing time this kid would get, but he would definately be worth a look at FB and a beast on special teams. Just a good hardnosed football player. always good to have those kids that work their butts off and go 100% every play on your roster.

Winter Park right? If your in the stand wear your orange and if your a player/coach make sure to tell him Go Vols.

As I said Rankin was all over the field! He lead his team to a great victory. He is a special player, best linebacker in central florida!

I have done a lot of research on this kid and have seen him play about 4-5 times. I have seen him knock kids right out the game and track down kids that run 4.3-4.5 fortys for the other team behind the line of scrimmage. This young man has my vote. I found his finished highlight on hudl.

Looks a little short, IIRC thats what he said the staff told him in the article. Kid is def a hard hitter.

We need a few kids that have this kind of spirit on our squad. No and ifs or buts about it. AND he loves THE VOLS...its a no brainer for me. Even if people think he isn't that good, he can be our Blanc for 2013. Offer him now coach D!!!!

Jmoore...what are the coaches thinking about him and giving him an offer? When is the earliest we can offer a kid...fall of Jr year? Thanks.

The staff could have already offered him, as I said above IIRC the staff told him he was to short to get an offer right now.

Thats what it looks like on film to me, the staff is upgrading size across the board evident by the guys we took last year & we have committed.

Thanks. Just hate to lose out on those guys that play ball to the wall, and especially when they are ALL VOL. Thanks for the updates.

He might be only about 6'1 but look at ray lewis 6'1 jon beason 6'0 Teddy Bruschi 5'11 Zach Thomas 5'11.He could be the next one. 189 tackles idk you guys. Seems pretty legit.

Not ideally what we're looking for, despite athleticism and production at a pretty high level.
