the interesting thing about him is he is adept at playing off Bigger Lineman and fighting Blockers.

He is someone who could be Hell playing Mike/Mac

Damn he is really quick off the snap. I agree Jay, would be interesting to see him playing at LB and see what he could do.

I understand that Jay. Not trying to hate on the kid.

But IMO, I still think those numbers and measureables are bad. Even for a sophomore.

I think his film is solid and I understand there are HUGE progressions made in speed, strength, and size between a prospect's sophomore to senior years.

But, Zanca personally would have to make freakishly large gains to be considered an elite LB.

I hope he makes a great LB for somebody one day, and I'm sure he will.

But I'm greedy. I'm still pissed off about what happened in regard to UT's LB recruiting last cycle. I wasn't happy about it in early February and I still have the bad taste in my mouth over what happened concerning Dalton Santos and Otha Peters. UT got stuck with King, Bynum, and probably DE convert LaTroy Lewis at LB last cycle. Nothing personal against them, but that LB core isn't getting UT to any championship level.

UT needs to really, really start strong and close strong with LBs in this 2013 recruiting class. I'm talking studs. And so far UT has. UT has gotten into great position with elite LB prospects such as Dorian O'Daniel, Yannick Nkgakoue, and Ben Boulware. UT has Vereen commited and I think he is going to be solid. Also, Matt Rolin and Ryne Rankin are solid LBs. Not to mention DE prospects such as Herron and Hatcher that could play 3-4 OLB/JACK type positions.

Most of those true LB you mentioned are already gone. We need LB's so if this kid wants to play let him on board!

I would assume so, as well. But you never know. I don't think we still have a great idea about what Sunseri wants in a LB at Tennessee.

Everyone knows what type of lb'ers CSS wants at Tennessee. They look/play just like the ones from his most recent team.

Yeah, but it was easier to get guys like that when you're recruiting under Nick Saban and a winning enviroment.

@RivalsCNee: Most highlights are him as interior DL. Does a great job shedding blocks, pursuing in a straight-line. Future may be DE or ILB.

@RivalsCNee: He is a solid player with good size and strength. I think he would do fine for the Vols. Personally, I think ILB is best spot.

Rivals needs to pay me to do evals of central florida kids.

No offense, but I would rather they didn't. You add a lot here. We don't need another going to the darkside like LordVader did.
