He seems to get easily blocked by kids that are much smaller than him. Just an observation.

"we were talking about their team progress and how the school was amazing, just regular stuff just about studies and hard work and stuff," mobley said. "next year they said they're going to move more to a 3-4 and coach dooley and j.p. Said they could see me in the middle at nose tackle because of my athleticism and strength."

"i'm not going to lie, i don't know much about tennessee. I know they have a great team and they're in the sec and peyton manning, of course. But, i don't know too much. They're in knoxville, but besides from the obvious, not too much," he said.

Anything new here??? I wouldn't mind him being in this DL class.

Havent heard much on this guy lately, still a small offer list, but you know how that goes BB, just wait til it gets closer to NSD.. A big body like this rarely goes unseen but im curious to see how Mobley is doing with his academics

"The atmosphere and competition," Mobley said of what he's interested in seeing first hand. "I want to start as much as the next guy, but I want a journey leading up to it. I also want that good relationship with my position coach. I think that's very important as well."

Tennessee defensive line coach John Palermo is in charge of recruiting Mobley for the Vols. The South Florida standout knows about Tennessee and they are definitely a factor.

"I know they are moving to a 3-4 now," Mobley said. "It's a good program and I have family there. I like coach Palermo a lot. He's a great coach. He's done it all and knows how to relate to his players. He's a tough worker and you can sense his spirit. He's a good dude."

So when will a decision come down from Mobley? Sooner rather than later he says.

"I hope to do something sometime this summer after the camps," Mobley said of his plan.

Looks like a good replacement for when we lose mccullers, as far as size goes. Always curious how a giant like that doesn't have more offers though.
