Bamma takes guys like fluker, Goldman...
Tennessee takes guys Like Carson, Calloway....

Why do this, seriously?

Because instead of doing what all other championship teams are doing and recruiting top notch players, Tennessee fans want lower ranked players because they believe somehow we'll make them into superstars and win championships, even though there has never been any evidence that a team that's recruited lower grade players have won championships. They think since Boise St. has had great seasons with crap recruits, even though they'll play one great team per year that we can pull it off in the toughest conference in the country.

Considering our recent history how can we expect to recruit elite players at all? Even if we did, most on here would still be pissed at something..
:whatever:

Until Tennessee football is back to competing for the top spot. I think every vol fan reserves the right to be pissed.

I also like making totally fictional statements when I troll around. You seriously have no idea what you're talking about.

The star system is seriously flawed. How about 2 star laden Utah punking Bama? Wanna talk Bama? How about1 star DeMeco Ryans turing out to be the stud he was. I would give anything if we had 3 star Travis Stephens back! We all know what happened with 5 star #1LB Chris Daniels riding the bench his whole career and finally quitting. Coaches don't give a flying flip about stars. They recruit to meet their needs and system PERIOD. :hi:

Hmm I'd gladly take the nation titles that recent national champions have had with the top players they've recruited. Could care less about individual talent of one great player on the team, could care more about overall team success with a bunch of great players on the team.

Besides if you wanna talk stars, you really want to tell me that some of these five stars wouldn't fit our needs and system?

Callaway was being recruited by Cincy and believes UT will become a player now in his recruitment with CBJ as HC.
