Lol. HG. What happened? This was the most adamant I've ever seen you about a recruit and UF.
HG has said he will sign with UF. A long way until NSD. The real interesting part though of interview is that Walker said AU finish a very close 2nd. Said AU told him they would up the ante and pay him even more money if he would come there. Even though I still believe it was a UA/UF battle interesting Walker is claiming AU was 2nd.

With the issues off the field surrounding Liner I am not surprised that AU is making a push for Walker. Once they had Liner and Lawson commited they seemed to have backed off from Walker. Liner has a meltdown and not playing football AU opens the checkbook up.
I know that, however, I just feel Saban is very similar to CDD in the respect that he doesn't take many commitments that he "knows" will end up somewhere else.
lol dont understand walker talkin about playing jack LB with the jon allen kid already commited
I'll tell it to you like this," Walker said. "I could have been committed to them if they would have offered me earlier. The thing about it was they took so long to offer and I kind of fell out of love with them. I was kind of hurt by that. I talked to coach [Will] Muschamp this morning. He told me, 'Hey man you're going to hate me because I'm going to recruit you so hard, it's not the same.' So that's what I'm saying, it's not over ... it's not over."
The only thing Walker did yesterday was name a leader for Saban and ESPN. If it was up to him he would have pushed back announcement again.
Many believed that Walker's decision came down to Alabama and Florida, but in the end, it was Auburn, the Tide's in-state rival, that finished a close second.
"I guess it came down to the fact I visited Alabama more than I visited Auburn," Walker said.
"I talked to teams who say we're still going to recruit you no matter what, if you pick our school or not, and I appreciated that," Walker said. "Auburn was one school that said they're going to continue coming after me."
The four-star defender still plans to take all five of his official visits to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee and USC.
Saban wanted Walker to commit a long time ago. That song and dance show yesterday was his ego and wanting to on ESPN. That had nothing to with Saban, but if it makes you feel better believe what you want.
Also since you like quotes here you go.
Walker recruitment is far from over and everything he does is just for ego. The kid promised Saban he was going to keep his commitment date so if that wasn't for Saban then I don't know what to tell you. Congrats and enjoy it now but like Dante Fowler he'll be a Gator on NSD.

You might want to tell Walker if he is going to be a gator to let them in on his recruitment. It does not appear that UF has a horse in this race at the moment, or I should say according to him.
And FWIW I could care less about a verbal, because until they sign it has no value whatsoever. He could very well end up at AU, you know the team according to Walker that finished a close 2nd for his services.
Do have one question though if he is going to be a gator as you say why did he not promise CWM anything. Like maybe commit to UF yesterday. Just curious.:hi:
