yeah he is just having fun, most would be surprised if its not Florida or Bama. I dont like seeing Clemson name even mentioned just because of what they have pulled off so far.

Sorry to semi-hijack, but does anyone know why a player can be rated lower at their position, but higher in the national rankings. For example, Walker is listed as the #11 SDE, and 94th in the nation. Rochelle is listed as the #8 SDE, and 111th in the nation. Is this due to updating the national rankings, but not yet updating the position rankings, or some other reason? TIA

I think they're just not updated all the way yet.

not dumb at all, its recruiting. it sounds dumb when fans have confidence in getting a recruit that barely mentions them as a real contender. homerism plays a part in that type of thinking.

From the Rivals chat when asked about Walker the response was they are not sure whether he is a DE or a DT. Depending of where he goes he could play either. So I assume the reason for the difference is they feel he is the 94th best overall player but not the a top 10 DE. One of the reasons he is rated so low according to their guys.

he is a top 10 DE no doubt, based on him going on a diet and is almost back down to 260 pounds. I doubt he has any intentions of playing DT. if he can keep the weight down he is agile enough to play LB in a 3-4 and he would be a SDE in a 4-3
