The Crimson Tide certainly figure into Walker’s recruitment. Florida does as well, and their head coach Will Muschamp called Walker this past week.

“Friday morning, early in the morning, six o’clock in the morning,” Walker said. “I wanted to go off on him. I was still asleep. He was saying they wanted me to be a Gator, stay in my state, they love me and that’s about it.”

To bad the Gator staff does not feel as good as their fans who say Walker is a lock.:)

Bet for what. I never said Walker was a lock to UA or that UA would land him. You are calling the lock. I am just posting his quotes. To be honest I could care less either way he decides. He is good but not a make or break for our class.

@livinglegend_44: My 5 official visits in the fall will be AL, Aub, Tenn, USC, and LSU. Coach G and I will be in Knox June 4-6 for a camp and auburn the 11-12

UT's new coaching staff + UT's new facilities opening + new aggresive style of defense + immediate playing time available + 8 or more wins= a seriously impressive defensive recruiting class this year.

Only thing missing from that equation so far is the results. If that falls into place this year and all these top tier players wait on their decisions to see how UT performs on the field...its like a perfect storm is brewing, I can't wait for the fall! GBO!

Have you heard any rumblings on your side regarding him and recruiting. Heard some rumors but I just assumed from the reports he is enjoying the process and wants to take all his visits now. Just curious.

I've heard he is Bama bound...........he is tempted to stay and play with his boys at Florida, but sometimes a kid just doesn't want to go to your school. The darkhorse is USC.

This seems to be the case with him. If I am Florida, you deal with another recruiting loss and move on.

This stuff happens.

don't worry Waco...Gator on NSD. He's a smart kid not to waste OV on instate schools. The OV list will change bc Meyer is trying to get into the game and I'll bet anything he takes one to Clemson.

Well, you must know something I don't. All I know is he went 2-3 weeks without even talking to our staff in late April/early May.

I also find it weird. It was all UF or UA and an interview every other day leading up to his commitment until a few weeks ago and neither team had spoke with him from all reports. Speculation is something may have happened of the field and both have backed off a bit for whatever reason.

I think it has more to do with he is getting alot of attention and wants to enjoy the process, but some of our insiders are saying different. I hope it works out because he seems to be a great pickup for whoever gets him.

Hearing the same thing about Clemson. One of the rumors is his HC is trying to get on the staff ay CU. But again all rumors at this point but funny how it all opened up and Clemson who was not a factor before is now.:)

He's probably Gator bait, but good to hear we are getting him on campus. I think we always have a chance with any kid who visits.
