'13 FL CB Vernon Hargreaves III (FL Commit)

"After being on campus for several hours, the nation's No. 2 cornerback was tired but glad he was able to see what Tennessee had to offer."

I hope it was a good visit. I'd love to have this kid

At least it is a positive sign we are getting looks from the best prospects. If we have a good season our commit list will look much better in January than it does today.

the way USC is recruiting this year, i wouldnt be surprised if he did pick them.

With all that we do have, are getting this year, and will get next year, we are going to be right there with USC and LSU and Bama in terms of recruiting talent. We need this staff to stay together for a bit. Ramsey fell for the apple, but we mostly get who we want in-state. We also have multiple out of state starters. We are closer to being back than most are willing to admit. VHIII had no reason to come here. Unless WE are an option. All that to say with the way WE are recruiting, don't be surprised if WE get him. And/or Mac. We are still Tennessee folks. These few bad seasons should not have stolen our spirit.

UT doesn't have a chance. UF is in his top group. His dad coaches at USF. So, how am I wrong?

If he made it to campus there is always a shot. Not saying we get him but getting him on campus is a good start. There is always a chance once that happens.

A good season will ramp up the 2014 recruiting more than this class. We may flip one or two but that's about it forf this year. But with a big year you can think Michigan 2.0 on the recruiting trail. It'll give Graham, Hinshaw, Sunseri, Pittman, and Ansley(pretty good list of recruiters) something to sell for real. Right now they're trying to sell a used Accord to The Hills. Everyone we're competing against is selling Mercedes and Aston Martins(my favorite). There's a big difference.

SN: don't get your hopes up with this kid, hope he had a great visit though.

This kid is a great athlete and I would love to see him in orange next year but IMHO we don't have much of a chance. I hope I'm wrong.

Don't think UF fans are that confident. I don't quite get how he escapes USF. He and his Dad seem tight. Believe his sister goes to UF, but that doesn't seem to swing much weight.

I doubt he will go there I Ramsey, Redfield, Hawkins, Cravens, and most likely Preist Willis JMO

If Priest Willis commits to USC, VH3 is out.

But... there's very little chance that Willis commits. Almost non-existent chance it sounds like.

So... VH3 has a spot, if he wants it. Who knows what he's really thinking though.

Seems like Kiffin is pressuring these kids to commit right now. Pretty damn good position to be in if you ask me.

Only Lane Kiffin would sign the number one class when he is placed on sanctions, he just basically told the ncaa to kiss it.

Vandy in his top 5? :eek:hmy:

Franklin doing some work, the man is serious about getting Vandy in the spotlight.

He listed USF for a reason..................that's where he's going.

Actually i think he has been a UF lean forever now. Will be surprised to see him go anywhere else.

But one can hope and anything can happen on an OV so I hope we get one preferably late in the season
