'13 FL CB Vernon Hargreaves III (FL Commit)

How is it a flawed argument? I don't disagree with you regarding coaches from the Saban tree. However, we're not talking about Saban's tree, we're talking about Pease and Peterson's tree.

If you want to talk about Saban's tree we can talk about Muschamp...

You pointed out that Peterson coaches don't do well w/o him and I say the same about Saban coaches. You think Sal will turn UT D into a top unit bc of his success under Saban but you don't believe Pease will have success bc he doesn't have Petterson. :ermm:

I dont see how that argument is legit. It as nothing to do with each other. Especially since Peterson doesn't attack NFL experience coaches like Saban does anyways. With that said Muschamp or not, it's irrelevant to Peterson.

The argument was Peterson coaches don't do anything w/o him calling the plays.
I said the same about Saban coaches. Name one former coach under Saban that has had success? Saban and Peterson are the brains behind those system no matter who is the OC or DC but you only see that in the case of Peterson OC's.

Anyway BTT.

Peterson is a different coach and at a different style program. It's not comparable. I'm not saying Saban coaches are better but it doesn't devalue the Peterson point because it doesn't have a direct correlation. Again your OCs success question has nothing to do with Saban. At all.

name one of Saban coaches who's had success when the leave his side? flawed argument from that standpoint

Sal is more from the John Fox tree, imo. Spent s lot more time with him than Saban. I would also point out that Saban's guys haven't flopped until they become head coaches, unlike Peterson's. I do agree it's Saban and Peterson that drives those teams.

We'll soon find out about Sal.

Debose and Pittman will be a solid...your WR and RB won't beat our D. JMO without your trio UT's O will be average at best heading in '13. Say what you like about Bosie system it's one of the hardest to gameplan for. Ask UGA, Bama and Okie.

Say what you like, but you're seriously undermining our quality QBs on campus , and Riley coming in. Croom, Bowles, and Pig at that point in will be a huge threat for opposing secondaries. If we can pull a top RB this class, I don't know why your so confident. Your O has proven jack so far.

Sal is a John Fox guy. Saban hired him in 2009 and you see how much better their recruiting classes were and the front 7 improved tremendously under Sal. Pease had an underrated QB in a weak conference. I don't think his philosophy will consist of what UF fans are accustomed to. UF will be a very conservative team on offense.Your defense will win you some games this year as long as your offense doesn't turn the ball over.

We know how Boise State coordinators translate to the SEC. Pease plus UF's QBs (or lack thereof) is a good thing for UT.

They won't win any games behind the arm of their QB this year for sure. They will run options, throw short passes and try to sneak a deep ball every now and then. Their offense will probably resemble the Seattle Seahawks. But without a great running back.
