' 13 FL CB Mackensie Alexander

Why would I be "butthurt" that you morons hired a high school assistant to your staff?

I meant that I know Pruitt personally and he is, in fact, a doucher.

Classic. Wonder why you didn't get a bazillion "likes" for it? Maybe it's because you're a conflict driven weirdo seeking social validation in a place where no one appreciates your presence. Where I'm from, that's called making an ass of yourself, where you're from, it's called being a good fan.

I guess you've got the option of going away or being pathetic...

 First post of the year material IMO.

Yes yes saban Is great. Saban is awesome. Saban saban saban. To be a highly Christian state A lot of bama fans don't make it past the first of the ten commandments.

I only referenced what many DB recruits have stated why they like UA or commit to UA for.

Regarding your comments referring to the Decalogue, that may be a stretch. I doubt many UA fans hold Saban above God. BTW not all UA fans are from AL, I am from TN FWIW.

Quick question since you seem to be so adament in your belief. Does that mean you do not believe that UT should still go after a recruit like R Foster because he already commited to UA? Since the people of the God fearing state of TN would never covet anything of thy neighbor. (10th).:)

Derrick Ansley was a grad assist. who helped with the secondary . Jereny Pruitt is the DB coach.

In a recent interview on utsports.com, Ansley mentioned working with the cbs while Pruitt worked with the safties. Job titles dont tell the whole story

So you're not from Alabama.. Did you attend Alabama?

Or just raised to be a Bama fan?

Not really raised because my dad's family are pretty much diehard UT fans. Saw my 1st UA game in knoxville. But I had an uncle that was a huge UA fan and when I was 8 took me event where I heard the Bear speak and I got to meet him. Ever since just followed UA.

My alma maters are WCU, Cal and UNC.

Gotcha, always curious when Tennesseans become Bama fans as to what sways them.. you are a legit Bama fan.. some of the others in Tennessee, not so much.

I will say that is pretty awesome that you met the Bear

His brother apparently will not be considering UT. Hopefully that doesn't affect his decision too much.

They aren't a package deal, if they were Mackensie would not have commited to us.. so I woldn't loss any sleep over it

Mackenro hopes to try and get his brother to Miami if he winds up there - "We're trying to go to same school together," he said.

Mackenro says he won't consider Tennessee because "I visited, and it's too far away."
-Rivals.

New article on 247...

Alexanders says "I'm strong w/ my decision. It's a soft verbal, but I'm still committed".

He likes that he could play as a freshmen & the academics. He wants to play in the SEC b/c that's where the best athletes are.

He has been talking to Miami a lot but they are only wanting to take 1 DB in this class.

Him & his brother talk about playing together in college a lot & it's a great shot that they will. His parents want him close to home.

The only thing that scares me. It's not a done deal, but they certainly are planning on playing college ball together. And MacKensie's brother (MacKenro) has already ruled out UT according to his latest Rivals article.

It is great to hear MacKensie reaffirm his commitment for now though. He would be a great fit here. Really hope he sticks because he will be an elite college CB.

If Miami is only taking one DB in this class, that's huge. There is so much DB talent in FL this year.

This is a guy I will be very glad to have as a commitment but will be waiting for to decommit all the way to signing day...

Not trying to be negative...I think my track record shows I'm anything but that...but expecting this guy to stick is just setting yourself up for disappointment

My personal opinion, but I think we under value the theory that some great players just want to be apart of an up and coming situation. Ofcourse you have guys that just want attention and choose schools for other various reasons, but I think Mackensie knows how much young talent is on the roster and set to arrive in the '12 and potentially '13 class. These recruits arent blind of other prospects. They are way more involved in evaluations in other recruits than any recruiting junkie could ever inagine. He may just want to be apart of the whole 'shock the world' factor that should ensue soon. Especially given the resources and tradition already has. We stand to draw a huge following with the very first hint of success we have on the field. Sleeping Giant would be an understatement.
