I almost wonder what his 40 time is, and what his hands are like. 6'10", 280 would make a beast TE. The last one we had over 6'7" (pretty sure it was both the Cottam brothers) weren't too bad at that size.

Should not get flamed at all.
If he has hands offer as a tight end regardless of 40 time. Important question after hands, is what is his vertical leap? If he can jump and catch, do not care how fast he is. :)

Also, if he can get any air at all, he plays mike in any defensive alignment to block FG attempts. Put Tiny and McCullers in to open a hole in the middle then, look out. Call it our 747 jumbo jet package

Heck for practice, make OUR kickers learn to kick FG over him!

If he can play bball at all, offer him to coach Martin in offseason, will increase his vertical.

He should be able to easily control the lane with his football skills!

Need some football experts to weigh in on a 6'10" player. Seems like a TE?
