First off, 247 has him at 225. Read a poster on here, maybe vol74, who's close to him say he's at 228....either way, splitting hairs. Kids 6'3", can easily put bulk on. Timed at 4.37. Noticed you only commented on his weight. Didn't have any thoughts regarding his performance? Kids a beast. Go to the OSU boards- those bunch of jack wagons sure as hell want him, I can tell you that. This kids special.

I commented on his weight because that is what I wanted to comment about. If I had wanted to talk about his speed then I would have. I never said that I didn't want him, you're the genius who connected those dots. I still need to see what his true weight is my own eyes. It will be ok man, calm down and think before typing.

He already possesses ideal size for a running back, checking in at 6'3'', 225 pounds. -

Bleacher Report article quote this morning discussing his recruitment. Course I doubt you believe it cause you haven't seen him on the scales yourself.

Will do my friend. I'm in the car a lot, hence my incessant posting on VN. Vol74 requires much love, nice job on your part, I'll try to pull my weight too.

So do we have a legitimate shot at Lee for this season? I'd like to land him even if it was just for this year (cause of academics) cause it could help bridge us with depth til we get Hurd and the other new TB's in the '14 class on campus! And what's the worse case scenario?? He has success and keeps the grades up and remains eligible for future years on the hill????

Alright Smokey, really don't mean to be a jerk, though my post yesterday might've come across that way. But, for the sake of being accurate, straight from the horse's mouth this morning in the Tennessean....

Hurd said Jones wants him to remain at running back. One of Hurd’s offseason goals was to add some extra weight to his frame, and he appears to have done just that.

“I’m weighing in around 231 or 232 pounds right now,” said the six-foot-three Hurd, who was listed at 210 last season. “I’m right around where I want to be.”

Ok, I'm done.

I wonder how this one plays out now since the Hurd commitment.

same here. Not sure how much additional help the coaches think we need at RB THIS year.

Because we could take 2 or 3 stud RBs to help out NEXT year if they think we'll be ok for the year.

Granted, Lee looks to be pretty good, so who knows? I'd like to have him, but not if he were to take a spot from a 2014 stud RB we're recruiting (or another position of need)
