'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

Rise to the top young man, and come play behind one of the best offensive lines in the nation here at UT. Follow in the footsteps of Arian Foster, Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, Shawn Bryson, Charlie Garner and other great UT running backs who went to successful careers in the NFL.

I agree I will be happy with either one but three years from now I think Ford will be the better back and has a chance to be really special. I would be ecstatic to get them both.

Outside of speed how does he have more upside than green? Ford is from my area and I haven't heard anything great about him besides his speed. Not too mention he wasn't even the best back in the area. I hope I'm wrong but after asking some questions about him he's the only 4 or 5 star guy to not be hyped up from my area in recent years from local kids who he played against.

We are not getting Ford,Lewenberry, or Boyd. We have had zero success in the last 7 years . This maybe news to you guys but we are pretenders. We are last in the SEC in football with the exception of Ky. And they at least have ball. Lane and Neal suck and we can't even get a running back to come here. We will be lucky to win 6 games and we won't get Hurd here next year either. This is a little of a rant; but, it is time to be a realist and quit thinking we are going to get any where other than maybe beating Vandy again. Peace my first and last post. First year really getting into this recruiting and it shows were we are. No where

You, my friend, have no clue!!! :hi:

this is actually the problem...we have no proven OL outside of Jackson after this season...this is why RB's are tough for us to snag right now. sheez Dooley...

I don't care where you live you obviously haven't seen Johnathan Ford play. I'm not sure who you think was the best back in that area but according to all the recruiting services Ford is not only the best back in North Alabama he is the best back in Alabama period. Derrick Green has said himself he has to run 4-5 miles a day to keep his weight down and I just think eventually he isn't going to be able to maintain his current 220-225 lbs and will climb closer to the 270 he weighed as a freshman.

I am going to be so unproductive at work on Wednesday. This player is a big reason for that. Him, Bell, and E.J. Shoot, we could include Trey Johnson, too. I think he's the surprise recruit if we land one. Thig is the man and has had a relationship with him for three years.

He was saying he is Auburn bound and will start. He would start at UT but is going to the plains. UT is stuck with the Marlin Lane and Neal both would not see the field in the top 6 teams in the SEC ever. Maybe sp teams

You are a phenomenally crappy poster. I mean of epic proportions.
