'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

The site that broke his announcement today is the one that broke his Auburn visit. Maybe they have a little more favor from Ford.

Dont like how they are breaking the news about his announcement on the Auburn 247 site

Lol. After this weekends fiasco in this thread, that fan site has no credibility. Besides VQ sent reporters to the Derrick Green announcement & how did that work out for us?

I am saying he is a VOL. As soon as he tweeted out the "Rise To The Top" on Twitter, I think that was him letting people know. That is something the Vols have been posting for a while now. I wrote to him about it and he said just wait and see. So I retweeted it out there and few other players and recruits were saying they expected big news today and NSD. Ford Bell Levenberry Boyd may all be wearing orange this week. If Dobbs is smart enought to be an aerospace engineer than he should be smart enough to see who he would be throwing at, at WRU and he should flip soon too.

auburn fans were bashing this kid yesterday and barber committed to au. im saying this is why he pushed up his announcement to become a vol

Hmm, he just posted this on twitter yesterday:

Johnathan Ford ‏@rudythebeast5
@Anderson__21 Nawl imma everybody know on Feb.6

What changed all of the sudden?

Hopefully Peyton Barber's commitment to Auburn is what changed everything

Here's why I think it's Auburn:

Their class is shaping up quickly, and they're looking to take 3 backs. They now have 2 committed with Barber flipping last night. That leaves one spot open going into Signing Day, and with all the rumors of a possible Folston flip, Ford can guarantee his spot in the Auburn class if he commits today. If he waits until the 6th and Folston flips, he's lost any chance at going to Auburn.

Meanwhile at Tennessee, Ford could wait until the 6th (as he's planned to do all along) and not have the slightest worry about losing his spot in UT's class. So if he were favoring Tennessee, it wouldn't make sense to suddenly alter your scheduled announcement two days before it happens.

He's picking auburn. I would bet $ on it. He's moving up his date because he's worried his spot is gonna get gone. Auburn got barber last night and they are filling up with rb.

Or..... The barber commit pushed him to UT and he's going ahead and pulling the trigger.

I say Auburn gets him.

Imo. This is correct. Auburn told him now or they were moving on without him.
