'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

Excellent question, both. I know a very influential booster and I get to talk to him periodically. He informed me of some recruiting info that he knew on Bell and Ford. I got to meet said coach through the same booster. I have been adamant about Bell being a Vol. Just guessing on the Miller part. I want to believe that Ford will keep his word but he has already told one coaching staff the same thing.

If that's the case why would what he told us be more valid than what he told them? And I assume that doesn't include committing to Vandy either? Maybe he is telling everybody the same thing? Sometimes the pressure these kids get put under is such that they have a hard time telling anyone 'no'. But in the end I hope you are right.

"I could be wrong but I think Miller is waiting on Lawson."
Does this mean if lawson comes miller will come or does it mean that if Lawson goes somewhere else miller will be a Vol?

Good point. Didn't think of it like that.

It seems that he is talking about the vandy commitment.

So you're saying you're not sure if he'll be a Vol or not now. May need to change thread title

No, I am saying that informed the coaches he will be a Vol but he told the same thing to Auburn and Vanderbilt. I can only share what is told to them. However, he has informed the UT coaches of this very recently as in the last couple of days. I may be reading too much into this but I think some of the boosters were getting a little restless with how the recruiting has played out thus far and the coaches gave up some info to satisfy them.

Hope so. But D. Green told the coaches he was going to be a Vol too. It's clear Ford prefers UT over Auburn but will his family pressure be too much?

Sucks Green turned his back on us. I hope Ford comes here. Adding him to the class with Levenberry, and Bell, Miller, will put us top 20.

Landscapingvol was pretty spot on in the Gruden debacle if I recall. Just saying.

That's true; he was. I don't recall him calling anything specifically before or after then, but you're right. He was shooting down the Gruden talk from the get-go.

"Confidence high at Tennessee and Auburn for Ford, dad is an Auburn fan, kid likes Vols. Too hard to call right now, depends on who gets to pick. Not comfortable enough to change my prediction yet."

Closing the gap!!
Feeling the volunteer momentum!
