'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

Oh. Sorry. Just saw in the lawson thread that barber may visit AU this weekend. But sounds like his mom wants him to stick at Oxford.

I think people are writing ford off
To auburn to soon. Think we have a good shot.

Ford will be a great get if we can land him. I didn't expect to get green. I actually thought does was our best chance at getting a decent rb.

Most likely Ford & Folston based on what I've read. UT should make a push for Barber or Wilkins imo.

Take? Got to get them to commit first. Just because you are fan of Auburn doesn't make it that easy to get commits. Stealing Folston from a team in the title game with a 2 win team isn't a walk in the park. And Ford has communicated with UT this entire time. Kids that grow up fans of a team doesn't always go to that team. Note the tweet he made saying the word 'fallback'? More applicable to Auburn coming in late than UT. He was always a take as soon as CBJ got here.

Sounds like Ford is headed to Auburn. He takes a visit there and then decommits from Vandy. He has UT and Vandy listed as low interest now. If that's accurate then he's probably headed to the plains.

I love your avi. Thanks for posting. Always look forward to that nice avi.

Folsten is a player, I would love to see as a Vol. I believe he is going to be a star at the collegiate and NFL levels. Any chance we can get him in for a visit?

It's to late in the game for him. We tried early but really focused most of our attention even then on Green and Henry.

There is some talk, not confirmed, that Folston decommitted from Notre Dame last night. It is clear, that ND believes they have a fight on their hands -sending two coaches to visit Folston on Wednesday and they appear frustrated with the current situation.

So who is Folston supposedly interested in?

Who in the hell DOESNT visit or want to go to Auburn??! Jeezus...seems like every top recruit wants to go to Auburn. They are nothing special! One freakin great player..one great year. After that, there is nothing that separates them from the rest of the SEC.

if youve been there youd understand. its an ag school. has some great grad programs. stadium is very nice, frat houses are huge. very old homes and some nice looking females. its all about football there. thats all there is....

if u look at things objectively both ua, and au are nice campuses as well in nice college towns. truly, are prettier campuses than UT. Tennessee offers a huge gameday experience, but so do the other schools. it just so happens that were such big fans we cant appreciate other programs

now. florida is the one campus that doesnt match tn in aesthetics...its horrible. soes usc

i think Auburn and Tennessee are a lot alike in terms of where programs are (being theyre two years removed from a nc).

It just seems like there is never-ending construction on UT's campus as well!
