Yeah, my post was misread I think. I think the staff loved Green and really wanted him, based on what Ive read. However, I also believe the statement that of the available backs (green included), Ford may fit their scheme best. Probably a 1a and 1b type situation with Ford/green.

Doesn't mean losing on Green wasn't a big disappointed. I have to imagine that was a real bummer for Graham.

this is not sour grapes... I said last week that Green's film reminded me of Jabari Davis... runs upright and seemed a little slow...also not that impressed with Barber... Kamara's film stands out head and shoulders above both of them... Ford was just behind him IMO.. look at the film

This staff is trying to put together the best recruiting class possible in a short amount of time. They are leaving no stone unturned. Green would have been a great RB to get, but so would Ford. Every good horse trader knows to not put all of his eggs in one basket.

Yep, true. I think they finish with a very solid, though not spectacular class. I won't be surprised if we miss on all remaining five stars. But I think we will land three or more additonal four stars. Will be a nice first class, especially considering what they walked into.

You're right. I was thinking of it from the perspective of the girl who got all prettied up hoping the boy would notice and he didn't. And her feelings are hurt.

But what matters is getting prettied up cause you're worth it. I mean that in a good way, even though it sounds stupid.

The only way I see Ford as number one on our board is if the rating was based on who the coaches thought they could actually pull. Maybe they had more confidence in flipping Ford than getting DG to commit.

But you guys gotta think we went through another coaching change...but also on the other this UT he had his chance of coming to a great program here...that's all on him im gonna laugh my azz off when we make it to NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER in 2yrs and his dumbazz is playing for the wolverines.

My friend, you have grossly underestimated my hatred of Vandy. Not only would we be getting a great RB, we would also be taking him away from vandy.

Oh I agree it would be great to piss in vandy's punch bowl.Just haven't watched any film on him.Film I think can be decieving sometimes tho cause you don't know about level of competition.Don't even think I'm gonna watch NSD this year.Can't handle any more dissappointment like the past 6 years.NEVER though I'd see the day we were competing with vandy for recruits!

I hoped and believed we would get Green. But Ford would make it all okay if he goes ORANGE on us.
