Nothing that hasn't been said already. Was listening to Hubbs field calls on Hyams show. This exact question was asked, probably by a board member. And he reinterated that the staff feels really good about their chances with Ford.
And the poster known as 'Holder' on VQ, who along with 'Uzzi'(Ritzmann) broke the initial interest between Carl Lawson and UT posted this earlier
TIFWIW:hi:
With the same players from the previous year, our rushing average improved dramatically despite being a pass-first team:
2011: 90 YPG (Ranked 116 of 120 teams)
2012: 160 YPG (Ranked 62 of 124 teams)
Incidentally, CJG came home 2012. How well you recruit don't mean ish if you can't coach them up. so STFU.
Dore fans were saying he is a fallback for Tennessee and of course a brilliant Tennessee fan tweeted JF saying "No way you're going to Candy, zero chance. Auburn, maybe. Would love to have u if Green chooses Michigan." I loathe twitter more and more everyday. I wish our fans would not have direct contact with recruits like this.
OH-Vol put it a stupid way, but it is concerning that this close to and he hasn't even convinced one RB to commit. I can understand if he had some guys de-commit, but that hasn't been the case. We are down to few options and we needed more than one back in this class. Pretty sad.IMO

That was not all Graham. Pittman made a big difference also. I do think Graham did a good job with the backs but the OL went to Dave Hart and tried to save Pittman's job because they felt he was effective.

Pittman made a difference, but it was mostly Graham. In 2011, the backs always tried to bounce outside. The line was ok, but the backs didnt run between the tackles.
The thing that Graham taught litteraly was to trust the blocks and run between the tackels. I remember him taking Neal aside in the NCSU game after he tried to bounce it outside and talked to him again about running inside. In other words, if Graham was here in 2011, I believe we still would have been in the 150 YPG range instead of 90.
I think, like we've said all along, if he takes this Auburn visit it's going to get very interesting. He has some close to him that would like to see him stay in state and go to Auburn. The Vols felt like they've had good momentum since the visit and that continued this week, but this can't be seen as positive. We'll see what the vibes are coming out of the weekend.

I think the good thing for us is that it doesn't seem like he's going to sign with Vandy. IMO, he's going to Auburn to make his family happy that he at least checked them out. They don't even have a RB coach right now. Hopefully he likes UT and Jay Graham better and commits to UT next week.
