Why are you even on this site? When was the last time Vanderbilt was even relevant in football. Two average years and you act like you won a national Championship
When was the last time you actually won an NC or a SEC championship? Look it up it shouldnt take you long

James Franklin is an embarrassment to the conference and to his program. Look no further than his sideline antics during the bowl game. PATHETIC!

So if Ford switches to UT he will instantly become the lowest rated recruit that Vandy had. He had multiple other RB commitments ahead of him in Vandy's pecking order. He was told to look around by Franklin. Got it. Glad we have this Vandy fan to give us such accurate information.

Sounds like alot of Vol fans on here. I would guess alot of message boards play out the same way. Lose a recruit or he does not sign, there will always be 193 excuses why.

I don't like the guy but....he just won the most games in a season for Vanderbilt since before the first World War ended.

He's not the embarrassment to the SEC, trust me.

I admit, my comment was a bit much. He's a he'll of a coach, don't deny that. His sideline antics during the bowl game....pathetic.

I know what you are saying. It seems as though he promotes himself wayyy too much. I saw a game where some people were being awarded for something and he walls about 20 yards on the field (as they're walking off the field) to shake their hands. As if he couldnt wait for them and made a big scene of it. The guy bugs me.

Agree...he, Muschamp, and Grantham @ UGA are all in the same boat.

...that said, so long as he's winning, the VU fan base loves it--all 50 of them.

And CBJ can do the same damn thing as far as I'm concerned...as long as he's beating the sh** out of rivals at the same time.

LM3 is more interested in his music career than football. USC is hands down the best option for him if he intends on pursuing that career. Believe it or not, and HG will back it up, but Vandy was very close to getting him and I am sure ole Kiffy pulled Snoop out or someone to sway him.

I'm really interested to see how this one unfolds. Jimmy hates his commits visiting elsewhere. If Ford shows up this weekend, it may be worth watching. This is just my opinion, though.

No doubt. His reaction to him visiting will be key here. If he handles it like most of us suspect it will more than likely backfire.

Hubbs said everyone scheduled made it in last night except for ferguson and Franklin who had bball games and would be in this morning. So I assume Ford is there.

I have two predictions for you for the next 2-3 years

1.) Franklin will leave for more money at a real football school and Vandy will go back to being Vandy.

2.) UT will snap out of what has been the worst stretch for us in the last 100 years and will return to being Tennessee.

Will you still be on here talking smack?

This is just something I heard on the radio. Vandy's schedules for 11, 12 and 13 were/are the easiest ever. Franklin is a pretty fair coach but ambitious. He will stay around through the coming season an be on the market before a more usual schedule comes along in 14 and he won't have the talent to continue winning. After all, until the bowl game this season, Vandy didn't beat a single team with a winning record.
