'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

You are saying exactly what I am saying. We offered lee as soon as we found out he wouldn't commit. The kid admits he made a decision yesterday which happens to be exactly the same day we offered another RB. You can't have it both ways. If he was told he would be the only RB which you say is true then lee tells us its over.

That's not what he's saying at all

We offered Lee a year ago. He just had trouble with grades. He has been to campus several times.

I love all the folks that made an A+ in mind reading. Step back from the ledge. No one knows at all what the coaches discussed with he and family except them.

Think he used his commitment from Vandy to get better offers, like ours. Then used us to get the offer he really wanted. Well played by the kid.

There is 0% chance lee had a committable offer for a year as you say. Grades haven't all of a sudden in the past few days gotten better either.

I don't think he used anything. He is an 18 yr old kid trying to figure out where he wants to go to school. The school he grew up following, offered and he'll take it. Just like we hope Vonn Bell does. Best of luck to him.

If this kid goes Auburn and the best we sign is this Jabo Lee kid, somebody better be on a plane to Arky and signing Michael Dyer.

Parents hate us!! When we need them to push their son to UT, the son makes his own decision. When we need the son to make his own decision, he caves to family pressure. We always are on the short end of the stick it seems.

Dyer wouldn't make it through spring practice

You are an idiot! He is in excellent football shape and would be a huge upgrade over anyone currently on hand and possibly anyone we sign. Michael Dyer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Check out his stats, and he has 2 years of eligibilty left. More than likely one and done but I would take him for one year here.

Has it been stated when Dyer can actually transfer/sign anywhere? Like a specific date?

He is free to sign now. He has completed his assoc. degree. I think the pot deal has a few scared off. He mentioned on Dan Patrick's show about 6-7 weeks ago he would be interested in UT. I would have already offered him a scolly with the condition of one slip up and your gone. With the ship sailing on D Green and others, its crazy for us not to be at his door already.
