I think the backup plan came into play when we were waiting for Green's commitment. I think the Franklin was telling Ford that he was only UT's backup plan in case Green went to Michigan. I remember that he tweeted that just after a visit from Franklin.

or maybe Vandy was his backup plan because he thought he might go somewhere else. and isnt the Rise to the top thing one of butchs phrases?

Where does auburn stand with another RB besides ford and barber??

We seem to agree that they want two more.

Any evidence they are pushing somebody besides ford for that spot?

He was saying he is Auburn bound and will start. He would start at UT but is going to the plains. UT is stuck with the Marlin Lane and Neal both would not see the field in the top 6 teams in the SEC ever. Maybe sp teams
